They literally don't take you off auto renew. Ever. It's just a flat out lie.

I literally deleted my card from my profile, and they still charged me. I would think that is insanely illegal as it means they stored my card details somewhere even after deletion from my profile.

I warn anyone who isn't going to renew, to specifically request that card details are removed from all records to avoid this.

Don't bother. I tried reporting a company to the ACCC recently but if you read the fine print reports are not acted on and are only used for internal education and policy purposes.

In other words, they're a useless protection racket for big companies.
