I reckon we'll get a lot of mid rookies - but a lot of them will be top priced rookies which makes it very interesting from a strategy point of view
LDU and Dow and Rayner will all play. Be shocked if one of Cerra or Brayshaw don't play for the shockers
I try to look past the romance of having all the gun rookies. Sure I’d love to have LDU but by downgrading him to a 117k rookie, I was able to upgrade Coniglio to Hannebery/Cripps/Rockliff (Hanners at the moment), all three options who come with less risk and better scoring histories than Coniglio. Is the gap between LDU’s and [rookie]’s scoring going to be larger than Coniglio’s and Hannebery’s? I don’t think so, and it probably saves me a trade since I didn’t see Coniglio as a keeper to begin with.

110% agree
Altho for planning purposes i always have an expensive rookie in my team. Gives me $$$ flexability once teans begin to drop into place closer to rd1

West AdelaideI agree ...however it depends on each zone & the depth of "reliable" rookies .....no good having a $117K rookie to have him play 2 weeks & not again ....at least we know North will pump as many games into LDU as possible .....so, a bit more expensive, but safeI try to look past the romance of having all the gun rookies. Pics?Liberatore looks ripped AF, never seen him in that kind of condition. Don’t think he’ll reach the 110 of a few years back but I reckon he’s good for a 100, very underpriced.
#piggyOliver is hotter.
With the mids this year 100 is no mans land! Especially being a mid only.Liberatore looks ripped AF, never seen him in that kind of condition. Don’t think he’ll reach the 110 of a few years back but I reckon he’s good for a 100, very underpriced.

Rather spend a bit more for a DPP who can help cover missing premos during the byes. McLean or Dahlhaus.
Billings looked quite ripped in a training photo I saw. Now if he has shaken the yips he will be the top forward.
This bodes well for selecting Pendles IMO

At 490k he’d be a risk. However from round 6 last year, taking out his last game when I think he was injured scores 9 tons from 11 games. I think he’s be a ballsy pick though.Connor Blakely anyone. Has been progressing nicely. Def capable of 110 this season
Mid onlyConnor Blakely anyone. Has been progressing nicely. Def capable of 110 this season
Reckon he’d be a lock if he had defender status. Will probably go 90-95.Mid only
