Watching the Commonwealth Games last night and Metricon actually looks like a cracking stadium when full... it's kind of a pity we will never experience it for an AFL game.

Also, off topic, but the Olympics should run the Para events simultaneously like the Commonwealth Games are doing. The events are no less entertaining than the able bodied events and in the case of the wheelchair races, are way more exciting than most.

I agree.

Having them run simultaneously also means you don't end up fatigued of Olympic style competition

You either have a short memory or underestimate the Queensland sporting public. If and when the Suns start consistently winning games and look a top 4 side, that place will be sold out every week.
