According to his Wikipedia page he was traded to St Kilda, in exchange for David Sierakowski and 2000 ND Pick #18 (Daniel Kerr). It's Wikipedia, so infer whatever you like about the accuracy.

It amazing how Fraser Gehrig went from being a serviceable centre half back at West Coast to becoming 1 of only 3 players since 2000 to kick 100 goals in a season at St Kilda.

I am not surprised

Most live in a Port Adelaide bubble and have no real football knowledge outside of Alberton. For most of them the only thing that they would know about Jack Watts was that he was a number 1 draft pick.

159 goals from 115 games at west coast

Still took a big leap at STK though

Finey IMO was just a broom sweep to freshen up the station ......not based on performance, as he was good listening

Handy footballer Barry Ion too, played a couple of seasons for Footscray and a couple of seasons for Woodville while doing his radio shows, his character Peter Plus that he did on the show was very popular back then.

I think it's also because Adelaide radio is so freaking insular, and this is the station that gave a radio spot to Lucy Cornes because ... yeah, I know.

Adelaide radio is a room you can only reach from the inside.

I reckon Wines will stay for another couple of years in the hope that Port can win a flag within the small window they have left

Gray, Boak and Ryder are all 30 this year while Rockcliff, Dixon, Ebert, Hartlett all turn 28 so it's really now or never for them as this year age wise will most probably be their best shot at it. If they don't win this year he will stick around in the hope that they can still pinch one in 2019.
