Fun fact: Against Richmond at AO, Port had exactly the same percentage of inside 50 to score conversion, but a dismal 12% compared to 21% goal conversion. Reducing score conversion percentage of inside 50s is due to the opposition defence...the goal conversion percentage rests wholly and solely on the method of attack and the inability to take advantage of fast break opportunities.

I've been watching footy for all of two years now and even I know this is straight up false. Opposition defence plays a massive role in forcing shots at goal from low-percentage areas, which then of course affects goal conversion percentage.

Vickery was a spud, who teased with performances against bottom teams. So would fit right in at Port as that's their specialty.

Watts is not as bad as Vickery. But he's not Buddy Franklin either....

I'm not sure that Port is a good fit for Watts, not that he had too many other options I understand. If he doesn't deliver early they will turn on him and it won't be pretty.
