None of these players are proven best 22 yet, though good signs with Houston.
It's not like you have had a great strike rate with the development of your players. Let's look at the national draft.
2016
Adelaide - Gallucci, Polholke, Himmelberg, Signorello, Davis
Port - Marshall, Atley, Drew
Too early to call, but promising players from both sides.
2015
Adelaide - Milera, Doedee
Port - Bonner, Johnson
Too early to call, but signs are Crows ahead on this one with both likely to be best 22 this year.
2014
Adelaide - Lever, Wigg, McGovern
Port - Howard, Austin, Palmer
Crows 2-0.5 for best 22
2013
Adelaide - M Crouch, Knight, Hartigan, Laird
Port - Impey, Harvey, Byrne-Jones, Amon
Crows 4-2.5 with quality picks, including 2 defender rookie upgrades... great result given draft sanctions.
2012
Adelaide - Siggins, Atkins
Port - Wines, Clury, Shaw
Power 2-1 with Crows hurt by Tippett-gate loss of picks.
Agreed.

Lol, how is 2014 equal as you have no one like Gov or Lever from Austin, Howard & Palmer!So
2012 = Power
2013 =Cows
2014 = Equal
2015 = Equal
2016 = to early to tell
2017 = to early to tell
So
2012 = Power
2013 =Cows
2014 = Equal
2015 = Equal
2016 = to early to tell
2017 = to early to tell
So
2012 = Power
2013 =Cows
2014 = Equal
2015 = Equal
2016 = to early to tell
2017 = to early to tell

If you tally the overall strike rate, it doesn't look so good for Port.![]()
Get the **** off this board.
We are talking about development, so that includes players who have left... though ours we normally get more value than we drafted them for, where you usually get less.Easy this is from your post
2014
Adelaide - Lever, Wigg, McGovern
Port - Howard, Austin, Palmer
Crows 2-0.5 for best 22
Lever and Wigg are gone
Austin and Palmer are gone
that leaves McGovern v Howard
McGovern plays forward
Howard plays forward, mid and Defence
McGovern has played 36 games (he did have an injury)
Howard has played 10 games (after a knee injury)
so both currently are equal
so 2014 = equal
?????

Lever & Gov have both been developed to be regular best 22 players. None of your 3 are best 22 yet.
It's a no contest in anyone's language!

Is being an ignorant troll that ingrained into your brain?
**** off with your ‘cows’ bullshit
Lol, I don't know why you are trying to justify this as an even drafting/development year by the 2 sides, because it's about as one-sided as you can get!yes your development of Lever was ahead of our Austin or Palmer (but pity you lost Lever)... and for the record Palmer was ahead of Wigg (3 games to nil)
but with Howard v McGovern the jury is still out (especially with Howard having a knee injury in 2016) hopefully both will have good years over the next couple of years (and I think that Howard is a good match up for McGovern)

Lol, Howard has been performing at Gov's level. When did Howard change the course of a game....
Yeah, he has changed the course games off his own boot.does breaking the Hawks - Josh Gibson's AFL record for 1% count ?
in 2017 he set a new AFL record for 1%ers (and this after only 10 games) Has Gov done something like this ?
Do you honestly believe Howard is the equal to Gov?Easy this is from your post

Their supporters are learning how to spin any situation like their President.Do you honestly believe Howard is the equal to Gov?
Howard started as a forward but isn’t cut out for it and was moved to defence. Gov is a forward, he doesn’t need to play back because everyone besides the odd silly, knows how good he is going to be.
We convert pick 14 into two firsts. They turn 16 in 95.Yeah, he has changed the course games off his own boot.
Are you that one eyed, that you are going to continue down this path of trying to justify Port's development matches Adelaide?
Why do you think you have to bring in proven players like Ryder, Dixon, Rockliff, Motlop & Watts... because your development has not been as good as it should be.
Meanwhile we have net exported players out in quality terms.
It happens every offseason. They get cocky and then they have to play a top 8 side and it all comes crashing down.Their supporters are learning how to spin any situation like their President.
It's the cult of Port...

“It’s like we are ahead of your team”I only came here to answer a honest query by outoftowncrow ... every one else has brought up other things re development
now re Howard / Gov . both have played to few of games to work out who is better .. (you will think it is Gov and I will think it is Howard especially seeing how one has played 36 games and one has played 10 games despite an knee injury) ... what we all need to see is Howard on Gov in a Showdown (to decide who is more developed)
Ryder, Dixon, Rockliff, Motlop & Watts have been a bonus for us .. (remember we got Ryder one year, Dixon another and Rockliff, Motlop & Watts in the 3rd year) it is like we are ahead of your team who got Gibbs and Gibson this year....
as for our development I think that it is coming along well ... we have SPP, Houston, Howard, Marshall, Atley , that will play games this year ..
and I think that Barry, Drew, Garner, Liengert might get one or two games his year (for their development)
