As they have yet to secure a major sponsor perhaps they didn't want to run out in their normal jumper with a blank spot where the sponsor is meant to be.

I would of thought if you were thinking of sponsoring an AFL team you would have it done by the now, you have missed the exposure of the pre seson games, haven't they known for over 12 months Renault were bailing on them?

I felt like shit stirring them yesterday. I suggested on their board yesterday that they could just put the $4,000,000 in revenue they raise from pokies onto a badge on their guernsey as their co-major sponsor. Being the only true community club etc.

Not surprisingly it went down like a wrought iron hang glider, lots of "carn youd do it too if your franchise had clubrooms" & "yeah but youse are sponsored by the Casino"

Within 5 minutes Goebbels the moderator had deleted my post and all of their replies.

They wouldn't watch any non Vic teams unless they have to.

Boak, Wines, SPP and Ebert are just not good distributors of the footy

I actually think Rockliff and Watts will be great pickups for them. But McKenzie, Thomas , Trengrove and Motlop are going to be a waste of salary cap.
