I tend to agree, the simple reason is he seems to be a carbon copy of JZ.

We need another gun midfielder not another 70/30 forward-mid.

I wouldn't be against trading for De Goey but not for a pick between 5 (or lower) and 10. Those off field issues are still a worry (lying to the club about how he broke his hand and drink driving all within the space of less than 2 years). I'm personally estatic if we just get Thomas and other draftees from this "super draft" and go full steam ahead for trading in come the end of 2019.

Collingwood has salary cap issues.

Collingwood will need 2 first round picks for Lynch.

Degoey is worth a first round and second round pick.

North offers 1st round pick only but also takes Mayne as part of the deal to alleviate Collinwoods Cap issues.
