Ok i will bite. Gresham, Carlisle, Steven, Ross, Membrey, Webster are better than c graders. I would argue Billings is too despite a poor year. And Roberon when fit. Steeles last month is also positive.

We lack a couple of out and out stars. A 2010 Riewoldt, Hayes, Dal Santo and Montagna with the current list would be a very formidable team.

That's horrible for you guys. Jake Lloyd gets 75% of his touches from chips in the back line or handball receives from someone who just marked a chip in the backline.

LLoyd for pick 20 is probably as far as you would want to go there IMO.

I'm hoping we get PP #19 and straight swap for Lloyd...essentially Lloyd for free.

I think Sydney would take it, they seem like reasonable trade partners. They gave up Mitchell for pick 14.

Your next two firsts likely to be after 15. Top 4 for sure next year with Lynch. They could do better than that by taking pick 3 and trading that. Two picks 15+ and a forward pocket for pick 3? I do like Thomas but I think Moore would need to be part of the deal.

If you were offering more than a one year contract, he probably leaves. I wouldn't expect much for him, would rather a slight pick upgrade though ie our 60 odd for something a few picks lower

What are GC Plan this offseason. I see they currently have a stack of picks again, do they plan to go back to the draft or are they shopping the picks around?

Curious because from an outsider it seems like they have hit the draft for a number of years now with varying results and in recent times seem to be looking to bring players to the club via trade.

GC: 2, 17, 26, 28, 38, 42

Thomas is worth a top 12 pick by himself, Moore is our future CHB, 2018 in 1st draft. That's about 2-3 times more than how much Im willing to pay for Lynch

Well he's played about 35% midfield 65% forward, yet is averaging 2 goals a game.

Kicked 3 goals or more 5 times already this season, on track for a 40 goal season as a Mid/Fwd...

Out of all small/medium forwards, goal leaderboard is:

1. Breust-45
2. Hoskin-Elliot-37
3. Caddy-35
4. Thomas-32
5. Gresham-32

By the way he'd be the #1 goal scorer at Adelaide lmao

Fair enough you don't rate him if you haven't watched him.

He's been extraordinary this year, he gets pretty much all his goals from snaps, crumbs, running into forward 50 etc... He barely gets any free goals or easy set shots. He works hard for all his goals and gets them through creativity and accuracy.

He's also averaging 2nd most disposals out of the top 15 goal kickers, 0.4 per game behind gunston. We've given him minimal support, he wins his opportunities by himself

Not sure what being the leading goal scorer at a shitty team sitting 12th has to do with him being worth pick 12 or under.

I would be stunned if there was a team out there willing to pay pick 12 or under for Thomas

No. Thomas isn't worth a top 12 pick. Good player, but not that good. I just realised that I misread your first proposal in that it was a 2019 2nd. No way. I dont think even a 2019 1st gets that deal over the line. I understand Moore has a huge ceiling, which is why I think he works. I think he could be the type of player that would be worth GCS while. A Thomas like player is much easier to come by. I think if you can convince Moore to go to the Gold Coast then you will be able to win that deal because half of the battle for GC is getting players willing to go there. I think if a club with pick 3 is driving a hard bargain, that Moore + Thomas + pick ~16 gets that over the line. But to a team desperately trying to attract players, just Moore + Thomas alone gets you pretty close.
