Carlton will come good soon , just look at Melbourne. I think that they will sign a highly rated free agent for 2020 or 2021.

Yeah, I can't see anyone other than fringe players wanting to join at end of 2018.

But IF/when we start improving, I think we might appeal as a team with some good young talent and presumably some decent cap space to splurge.

WIth Carlton un discussion with McGovern (ad), will this trade work?
Kerridge + 4th round pick (Geelong)
McGovern + 5th round pick

Edit: It's a joke, sit down

Carlton’s number one priority should be to get the best available small forward in this years draft and maybe even a half forward flanker too. The Blues have got some very talented key position players who are all young. If Carlton can surround them with some more quality kids in the draft I think you’ll be alright in the future.

McGovern is worth a first and second.

Kerridge should be delisted.

So, no. That won't work.

Unless you count Izak Rankine, 180cm, there won't be any in the top 10 rankings. If we can trade down to Adelaide, we can pick up Ian Hill or Chayce Jones with 7 and then Bailey Williams or Collier-Dawkins with 12.

If we had pick 7...looks around the mark...although rather than Kerridge who we traded to you as part of the menzel deal a future 3rd rounder might be better if that was in the offing
Might work, but at the moment we should try to look at getting value, no matter how small, for players who are irrelevant to our rebuild. We might even stick out our future 1st rounder, as that is our preference for a player like Shiel. If that happens, we will ask for 13 or a fringe player like Ellis-Yolmen

McGovern, Ellis-Yolmen and 7 for 1 and 23?

I look at it from another perspective, if Lukosius goes on to become a once in a generation player of the comp, would people be complaining of the price paid for him? A criticism of the saints is the lack of a-grade talent on the list.
The chances he becomes a once in a generation player is very, very slim. If you had 50 number 1 draft picks you may come out with 1, once in a generation player.

Would you take Hawthorns 1st for Ross?

Dons could do with a Fwd/Ruck.
Someone who could play #1 in place of TBC in the event of injury, but generally plays FF when TBC is in.
Would you be interested in Ceglar? Has been good up forward and is a very capable ruck. Been in our best for the past few weeks while McEvoy is out.

Shiel and Coniglio/Scully for #1, Graham and Kerridge

Edit: This wasn't very well thought out and based on rumours of the GWS players being disinterested
Shiel alone is worth Pick 1

What would people say Burton’s value is and what would they give up?

Thats bad... really bad. Kerridge wont be traded anywhere. Either kept on for depth or delisted. I would love to try him half forward for a full year n see what he can produce

That was a troll.

Not sure what the point of it was, but there you go.

I think you should add a tongue out emoji or something just as some don’t see at as a joke

If the hawks end up with a pick around the 10 mark I would not hesitate to trade Ross. Just to be greedy, would you also agree to trade your 3rd round pick for our 4th round pick as part of the Ross deal?

Actually i just remembered that Hawks traded this years 4th last year meaning we need a 4th in order to trade our 1st.
