I would of Kept Aish and Traded Sier
cmon Dave...lets be serious here.
Not to mention we are flushed with Half back flankers aplenty- as opposed to genuine onballersSier would probably be much cheaper to keep than Aish.

I have also said 198 plus and used the term ruck height ya dig?
The weight of evidence supports that they have ignored some serious athletic prospects in the sub 196cm ranges for mostly 198cm to 211cm types. They have also repeatedly stated the focus will be on taller types and ruck sized for they feel they can translate better in less time.
Not my guesses as again they have had interviews with people and discussed the parameters of what they were looking for and putting invites out for.
There is obviously an open invitation (prior to the current on hold status) but I didn't think I needed to differentiate between sought out invite and open testing for you.
Again Cat B was originally for athletes foreign to the game to sit outside the cap and learn. It's utter b.s. that they couldn't find any like you suggest.
If clubs aren't filling it then it's by choice not because there are a lack of athletes out there. Some clubs simply don't think it's worth it.

Which wouldn’t have given us any relevant cap relief.I would of Kept Aish and Traded Sier
Dane SwanMaybe but do we want someone who has Question Marks about his Professionalism
Dane Swan
Swan barely even got a game until his 4th year. You’ve completely missed the point.Big Difference to what Swan has Done and what Sier has done.
I don't remember Swan going Backwards like Sier did from 2018 Season to 2019 Season

No Dave, I didn’t miss anything, and you’re going off on a tangent. Your original point was that you would have gotten rid of Sier ahead of Aish, which would have been completely pointless because the only reason we traded Aish was for some cap relief. Trading Sier would have not only done nothing for our cap, but taken a player with a higher ceiling than Aish, who also fills a greater positional need, off our list. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but it’s the truth, and the questions over Siers professionalism don’t change that.I think you have as well.
Sier last year looked like he might become the Next Dane Swan after a Big 2018 Pre-Season when he also went to Thailand to Train and get Super Fiit.
Then come back next year not as Fit as he was last year and that Carried into the Season where he even Struggled at VFL Level
Is this the lip tattoo thing?Maybe but do we want someone who has Question Marks about his Professionalism
It's not about digging anything, you were wrong and just can't admit it ya Fonzie. You claimed (to paraphrase) that if they didn't have a policy that only allowed 2m plus types to trial at the combines then every club would carry a full quota of Cat B rookies every year so the view that they're hard to find is a load of crap. Clearly there is no such policy. I can't believe they haven't gone the indentured slavery route, how dare these multitude of prospects you allude to exercise a freedom of choice. I'll leave it there because you're clearly rusted on to a view the evidence doesn't support.

NAB AFL Draft Selection Meeting (Round Two onwards to conclusion).
Not really same price - Madgen's contract is off the books as a Cat B.Disappointed with Magden re-sign as there are better DFA KPD options out there for the same price like Hartley, Walker and Roberts who could equally be given only a 1year deal.
Coming back from a horrific injury; Broomheads form improved slightly as the VFL year went on but still very lucky considering he averaged only 15 touches. Could argue that Crocker had more impact in the midfield at VFL level.... but he got cut.
Reid is insurance. They've gone the safe bet sticking a player who might offer 10-12 games at best but can come in and immediately play the role. Must have faith that Cameron will soon show that he can take over that role from Reid.
Wills on a rolling one year deal from herein is fair. Injury prone player who is limited but showed he has heart and grunt which we need in the middle when Adams or Sier are missing
“Travis and Ben are stalwarts of the club, they’ll continue to bring their experience to our mix and we hope to see their form continue from 2019,” Collingwood List Manager, Ned Guy, said.
“Tim’s worked hard in the VFL to return from the injury that cut his 2018 season short, while Jack and Rupert were able to come in and play their role for the team late in the season. We’re hoping that another 12 months will give them the opportunity to have an even greater impact.
