Players don’t lose talent. I think people have forgotten just how good he was as a junior, and he’s shown it at Afl level. He had 8 disposals last week and got dropped by one of the worst teams in AFL history.
He's behind JSOS, Gibbons and Cuningham.
May surprise you to learn I'm not a player manager...but if I where I'd be telling him to hold off. Has added tens of thousands and probably a year or two to his contract in recent weeks, I'd keep backing myself too. What the go with JSOS yet to sign ...

Career full of unfortunate long term injuries... imo took its toll on him...Possibly. I recall a man bereft of confidence, unsure of himself and unsure of his role in the side. Something that could be said about a number of our players in the Bolton era.
Cunningham is.. No doubts whatsoever.
I’m not reaching at all. We have seen JSOS, Casboult, and Kennedy play career best football under Teague. I’m positive we would have seen Pickett excel as well.Absolutely. And that won't have been different under Teague.
Whether you liked him or not, think some people are really reaching to find fault with Bolton.
Deserves a lot of credit for the environment which has seen no players of note want out despite poor on-field results.
not if he owns a tv............Martin more likely to end at Nth Melbourne esp after signing Cunningham for three .. if no cognilio we probably hunt hill.. if no papley we go for Richmond excess small forward.. think Teague if coach would work with two talks McKay curnow two mediums silvagni mcgovern two smalls.. as preferred starting line up..

The game style may have suited him better, but it is a huge reach to suggest he would have been healthier and more motivated under a new head coach.
Some players are excelling under Teague, but an argument can be made for others having regressed slightly too. No different to any other coaching change.
Just out of interest, who has regressed..?
Fisher and Dow are two who come to mind straight away.
They were not having great seasons by any stretch, but both have struggled under Teague.

Because of the coach yes, Arrow ?With each coaching change, some players excel, others struggle. As a whole this side is on the rise

Dow probably was a major factor in costing us a few wins with critical misses, was not playing great this season.
Fisher is out of sorts, yes, but has been pretty poor most of the year.
Both probably running out of puff too.
So what number will Coniglio be wearing for us next year?
Fisher was playing quite well early in the year, but with no midfield minutes, his output has diminished.
Dow even though struggling somewhat (and this was evident even through the JLC) was averaging near the 20 possessions a game mark, but the change in scenery to the forward line has done him no favours at all.
For every action, there's a reaction and as good it has been for the CFC to have brought ECurnow and Murphy back into the midfield, others have suffered, at least in the short term.
I see both making it ands making it well, but List Management has to be careful in the types it brings in as for what may be seen to be the better outcome in one area, can diminish output in another and especially so when players are wanted in the side for their talent, but then need to be 'retrained' into new roles.
That's why I don't care for an Ellis, nor a Tomlinson as I only see them displacing another with little added total value.
Get the players you need ala Newman, albeit his position became available thanks to Docherty going down and the total value should mostly be higher.
Spot on.Weird comments about Fisher from some of you. His form not regressed due to different coach. In fact when I went to SCG v Swans he was one of reasons we moved the ball so well between the arcs. Then he got sick a few weeks later and not surprisingly was not at his best last week.
He pretty much playing how most 20 year olds do at this point in their career. Sometimes people here look or imagine issues that not even real issues.
Enjoy our youngsters learning to play together and do not expect them all to play well together so early in their careers. Very happy with Zac and how he developing and looking forward to seeing his exciting talent out there today just as I will with Samo, Jack, Harry, Walshy and Setters.
