Settle down.Absolute farce of a competition.
They’re dictated to by the AFL when they start and when the season ends. Everyone plays everyone twice and that has to be spread out somehow.

Settle down.Absolute farce of a competition.
Or we trade a player who was very close to being dropped the entire season for a first round pick.
THIS Charlie would be fantastic to have. The Charlie of 2017 was inconsistent and flighty. He was more like Atkins than the current Cameron.
Maybe he needed a new environment and the wake up call.
Kym Koster needs 3 games or something for his son to be FS, get him in.Heard it reliably from my barber yesturday, apparently we have requested a clearance for Thommo from Port so we can inject a bit more experience into the side.

Makes sense. Not the SANFLs fult but frustrating nonetheless. AFL needs to pull its finger out and get a functioning reserves comp up and running. Clearly more important than China or AFLX or AFLW or whatever other side projects they tip time and money intoSettle down.

The SANFL regularly held the GF the weekend after the AFL GF, I loved it as it gives it clean air amongst the AFL bull$hit. Pretty well since the AFL Reserves the GF has been held the week before the AFL GF as with all State League comps.Makes sense. Not the SANFLs fult but frustrating nonetheless. Still waiting on the G Cornes bookNot a smart move doing this. Other clubs will be put off JJ if he reacts by spilling the beans. You dont burn any bridges. Pity though because I would love to know whats happening inside the club. I think we all would.
Betts is one player I would love to have stick around after he retires. Would be a perfect in a development role with the Aboriginal lads. I think quite a few clubs have someone specifically in this role and I may be wrong but I don't think we do? He already has such a great relationship with most of these guys by the looks so would be great to keep him here in that role after he retires. Imagine what it would do for young Aboriginal lads coming into the club to have Eddie as your development coach and mentor.I have no issue in Betts going back to Melb next year. Takes stress off our salary cap and he was heading back to Melb most likely end of 2020 anyway. Not sure if he has another year in him but good luck to him if a club offers him a playing/coaching deal.
It's not an ideal solution how things are currently, I always assumed it was a stop gap measure until they sorted a proper national reserves comp. The SANFL regularly held the GF the weekend after the AFL GF, I loved it as it gives it clean air amongst the AFL bull$hit. Bingo. A lot of Bernie Vince about it. If they stay here and comfortable do they achieve the same form? A lot of people point to the 2017 PF as proof Charlie was good for us, forgetting he spent at least half of 2017 as an absolute liability on the field with 0 impact.Or we trade a player who was very close to being dropped the entire season for a first round pick.

I'm with you. Altercation, maybe. But the "cleaned out his locker" thing just seems so exaggerated. He probably punched Tex on the way out too I suppose.I don't doubt that they may have had an altercation. They are human afterall, it happens all the time. But I reckon it has been exaggerated quite a bit.
My issue is, if this is true, that it has been leaked. Seems like a lot of these kind of leaks happen often in the Crows.
Him leaving had nothing to do with his exit interview.
He decided to leave, he asked for a trade and then had his exit interview.
The exit interview only highlighted some meaningful things Cameron had to work on. Tough love. Charlie didn’t like what he was hearing but it had nothing to do with him leaving.
Could not disagree about 2017. Yes he had some poor games but in the position he plays did he have less impact than Murphy or Douglas.Bingo. A lot of Bernie Vince about it. I don't think we're winning the flag that year either. Saucebot 3000 is moving like he needs a good oiling, Andy Ottentron is looking slow against the new models, and Richard Douglas just hasn't looked the same since they reanimated him for the 49th time. Not sure I can’t wait until 3036 for our premiership.
I hear you but I believe his wife wants to get back to Melb asap. Betts has always said after his contract is up he would head back to Melb to keep her happy. Can't see why Andy McLeod couldn't do a similar role. Does some coaching with aflw.Betts is one player I would love to have stick around after he retires. McLeod would also do great in that role if Eddie didn't want to hang around.I hear you but I believe his wife wants to get back to Melb asap. Because by the time of the exit interview he wouldn’t have been traded so they’d be following the normal practices and it’s also a chance for players to give feedback also.I don't believe this at all. Why on earth would we, the team losing the player to an opposing team, tell said player what he needs to work on to get better.. it makes no sense.... but it is the AFC management and their record for decision making since the 2017 GF has been woeful. So maybe there is truth to it!
Cameron's 2017 was inconsistent in that if you ranked the games on the Charles Cameron game ranking scale (0 being did not play, 10 being Preliminary Final vs Geelong,) his games would vary wildly between ~4/10 and 10/10.Could not disagree about 2017. Yes he had some poor games but in the position he plays did he have less impact than Murphy or Douglas.
I wonder what it is then about our club/side that doesn’t get the best of them then.Bingo. A lot of Bernie Vince about it. If they stay here and comfortable do they achieve the same form? Joe The Goose exit? No, when he turned towards the exit there was nothing between him and it so he went for it.
CC is probably helped a bit by being a more heavily featured forward in the Lions forward line. I reckon if they released targets inside 50 stats he'd be getting twice as many as his time with us. He's in like the Betts position now, he gets an entire forward line to work in at times, they've built strategies entirely around Cameron having space ahead of him to use his speed to break away.I wonder what it is then about our club/side that doesn’t get the best of them then.
Charlie was tanking the whole of 2017 in order to make his trade go smoother imo. He subsequently showed on the big stage in the prelim what he can do. He has also shown it at the lions that he is probably the premier small forward in the league. If he was happy and we had payed him he would have stayed.I wonder what it is then about our club/side that doesn’t get the best of them then.

Nah, he slipped out the back door which was left open for one final joe the gooseI need some clarification on Jenkins "walk out". Did he straight line the exit or run from it and then decided he needed to go and then went half hearted at it?
