Its all well and good to say that, but back in reality, Charlie’s pissed off and as a result is going from strength to strength personally and his side is a potential top 2 playing exciting football. Meanwhile our club is imploding with no end in sight.
Maybe Charlie needed to harden up, but at the end of the day it’s us paying the price, not Charlie. Perhaps we’re the ones that need to change?

And maybe Charlie didn’t like the direction he saw the club heading off field and thought he didn’t want to be a part of it.
Let’s face it, our club is not one that players are dying to be a part of. Anyone we re-sign we end up doing for terms longer than we wanted, such as Jenkins and Sloane.

As soon as Judd opened his mouth about the Crouch Bros and Sloane being too similar on FC I knew he was putting the feelers out on Brad.
Same as Eddie coming back to Carlton (prob more so as development coach/player).
Id move on Matt but not Brad.
I don't doubt that they may have had an altercation. They are human afterall, it happens all the time. But I reckon it has been exaggerated quite a bit.
My issue is, if this is true, that it has been leaked. Seems like a lot of these kind of leaks happen often in the Crows.

I have no issue in Betts going back to Melb next year. Takes stress off our salary cap and he was heading back to Melb most likely end of 2020 anyway. Not sure if he has another year in him but good luck to him if a club offers him a playing/coaching deal.
In regards to brad i am pretty sure he will head back to Melb once he's a free agent end of 2020 if my memory serves me correct. Cash in now as we are not contending next year. If Carlton offer us our first pick back say pick 9 or 10 we should definitely take it. Our goal this trade period should be to get 5 or 6 picks in the top 30. I doubt the club will do this but they should. This could be easily achieved with the rumored trades of Greenwood, Jenkins, Gibbs, Betts, plus possibly trading out BCrouch and Laird. Not sure whats going on with Keath. Club needs to definately keep him as he is our best defender currently.

Surely even JJ wouldn't be so brazen?

1) Assumption is that someone at AFC is leaking to Caro (nobody knows for sure - it could have been Rowey FFS)
2) Everyone assumes that it must have been Jenkins, that the club found out and omitted him from the side because of it. Never mind his form has been terrible since he hyperextended his knee.
The rumor that Pyke and Jenkins had a fight and Jenkins has walked out seems 1) unlikely and 2) relies to some extent on the previous assumptions all being correct.
It all seems a bit of a stretch.
