Dingley will get another contract. Showing good signs as a winger/inside mid after interrupted run. Excellent pace and can win his own ball. Hopefully he continues his form for the next couple of weeks and then I'd expect him to debut.Roberton (ret)
Longer
Armitage
McCartin (ret)
Rice
Joyce
Pierce
Rowe
These would be my choices. Love us to keep Marsh and Mayo (obviously).
Langlands might get a cheeky extension but he'll be feeling the pinch. White unsigned too which concerns me.
Marsh and Mayo save us any need to replace Roberton and McCartin.
Pinching a back up ruckman in the trade period to cover for Longer and Pierce would be good. Could we do what Hawks did with Scully and get Patton for chips?
Personally I'd rather pay Goldy $600K and take up one list spot than pay Longer and Pierce $600K a year combined and take up two lists spots.who's paying him $500k? Who needs a 31 year old first ruck?

Well I think coff a pick 30 at the moment. Surely we would be the ones wanted that trade so I’m unsure a contract matters. They would be crazy to do it. We would be crazy not to. That suggests to me it’s very much in our favour.Pick 8 two years ago & still under contract. He holds some value. Dunkley’s value is higher but not by a great deal IMO. Depends on what the Dogs see in Coffield. Apparently they rated him very high as a junior & would’ve taken him ahead of Naughton if he was available.

What deal would you suggest if Dunkley wanted to come to us & Coffield to the Dogs with both clubs wanting the deal done?
Im not sure we will panic , We have done fine without Jake , he wont make a lot of difference to our team IMO , Jake wouldnt have done much better on Cameron as he doesnt have the speed (pardon the pun )to go with him . In fact if a team came knocking on the door he would be up for sale if it was my choice .We’d want to sign Carlisle and Billings relatively soon.. otherwise the speculation will soon turn into panic.
Personally think he’ll be part of a trade to get another player over here. First round +
Acres = x

Probably. Done as little as coff. Don’t rate bonar at all but many will.If we wanted Bonar from GWS would we be able to get him for pick 30?
I doubt Billings would be worth more to another team as he is to us. Aren't we desperate for outside mids who use the ball well?Im not sure we will panic , We have done fine without Jake , he wont make a lot of difference to our team IMO , Jake wouldnt have done much better on Cameron as he doesnt have the speed (pardon the pun )to go with him . Billings is a good player but the question is he worth more to another team than he is to us ?
I was impressed with couple of games I saw him play last year. I'd be over the moon if we got him with pick 30Probably. Done as little as coff. Don’t rate bonar at all but many will.
I bet the Dogs are glad they got kissed on the boutso with that one!Pick 8 two years ago & still under contract. He holds some value. Dunkley’s value is higher but not by a great deal IMO. Just depends on what we can get to be honest. I would like to see how he goes under a new coach/system however. But currently, that potential or output hasn’t eventuated. If trading it means we get a gun I’m ok with that.I'd rather keep him unless it's star. His potential is still higher than his trade value.
They’re still very important to our future though. I wouldn’t want to get screwed come trade time. I’m not convinced Carlisle will get maximum value given his injury and age. Billings has good value. But he’s so important for future years.Im not sure we will panic , We have done fine without Jake , he wont make a lot of difference to our team IMO , Jake wouldnt have done much better on Cameron as he doesnt have the speed (pardon the pun )to go with him . Don’t forget Robbo and Paddy most likely don’t play againYeah, if he goes it would want to be massively in our favour. The club is going to ******** a lot of fans next year already. At least 5 players will more than likely be delisted. Another few will be lucky to get another go and if we lose Stuv, Billings or Carlisle people will lose their ****.
We are in rebuild mode (again) and patience is wearing thin for a lot of people. I know two guys who used to be more passionate than me that have given up on following the club until we get better already.
We lose guys like Newnes, Billings, Acres, Ross etc then we not only go from the youngest after retirements but also probably close to bottom 3 for a few more years, even allowing for one new star player.
To me the only way forward is to stop being clever wth trading and drafting. None of our fast tracking moves ave eventuated in anything resembling an improvement yet. At some point we will have to do the hard work and hit the draft and find our own talent.
Pay a fortune for Coniglio as a free agent or go to the draft and find talent, we aren't going to get a genuine star in a trade with Acres and a first rounder realistically. Maybe some second tier player which will cost the chance at a dar in the draft and a second tier player.
Well in that case the club should pull the trigger as soon as we are no chance of finals.Just depends on what we can get to be honest. Doubt the Bombers let him go after the last two weeks. They've been playing him on the flanks for the last two seasons, finally played him as a full time mid over the last fortnight.People have to stop talking about Parish. Hardly done anything at the Dons. Average user, genuine battler. We already have a handful of him.
Well he's not there to redecorate the canteen. From what I have read on here the last week, sounds like with retirements, and possible high profile trades, the situation is set up for Graeme Allen to remould the list at seasons end.
