I wonder if the club might try to leverage GC’s lack of mature bodies to facilitate a trade for Ben King. For example, something like Bruce (to help the development of Lukosius) + an appropriate pick or two?

To be fair, the guy you would pick in the draft hasnt either. Caldwell may have gone number 3 in this years draft..

Caldwell and Bytel looked the best inside midfielders in that year. Jye in particular looks something special, and GWS are facing a glut of young midfielders that won't be able to get games in the seniors so they will have to offload a couple. If we can possibly shake him lose then we should do so asap. It's a buyers market this year!!

Hate to say this but calling us a low tier team is a total crock.
Injury riddled team with a hell of a lot of our top players out and we are 6 and 6.
Also the club has fielded the youngest team in the AFL this year.

All we require is a good midfield and we have the money to get them and go for a flag

Imagine if we get Carlisle , Hannebery , Roberton , Steven , Coniglio , Langdon into this current line up with the ever improving squad we have - we are going top 4.

Geelong - well a team renowned for hang bags is not a team I would go for unless you like hand bags when playing

We were supposed to lose them last year. The one thing I do know is players wouldn’t have a clue who is coaching them next year. You can’t trust them not to bet let alone knowing that. I reckon we will keep every single player we want to keep
