70% disposal efficiency last year, would have taken that yesterday instead of either Harbrow or Hanley. His footskills are a crime though
Also it highlights Burgoyne would have been a valuable acquisition last year.

I thought Atkins was a winger, don't know how much defending he does.70% disposal efficiency last year, would have taken that yesterday instead of either Harbrow or Hanley.

We should make a decision and stick to it with 2MP. His value is as high as its going to get. If we can trade him and turn him into a good half back we should pull that trigger.
I love 2MP but it might me better if he plays elsewhere if it can get us a good piece.
If King/Day get injured who you got forward? Corbett? He is still only 23 and pretty good in the ruck. With a better delivery he will be hard to stop. Day 29 next year not much better. We can keep 3 talls. Unless Wright requests trade I would keep him.We should make a decision and stick to it with 2MP. His value is as high as its going to get. If we could turn Wright into a very good experienced HB to replace Hanley/Harbrow we should be doing it.
I know we probably don't like the idea of losing him, but he has some decent value at the moment, the longer he doesn't play though, the longer his value drops.
By all reports Corbett has been performing better than 2MP anyway, so yeah, I would play him. If Day gets injured and Corbett can't play then we can just roll with King as our tall forward - plenty of other sides manage with just one. Or we can try Luko there again, who's now a bit stronger. If King/Day get injured who you got forward? Corbett? He is still only 23 and pretty good in the ruck. Yeah ideally I would prefer an early 2nd rounder for him or a player to fill a gap in our team (HBF or key defender), though I am not in the club and don't know the situation or what they expect. Over the next 30 days with a lot of games squeezed together he may get a few games, also if the current formation begins to stagnate a bit, Dew might look to go 3 talls at some point to stretch defenses.Hey K
The HSun mentions top30 pick.. I presume you would think thats a bit light. I agree on him not playing hurts his value... can you see him getting games?
Not ideal, down side of having such a good young kid in King I guess

But at 23, the man probably wants to be playing AFL games, and the Suns don't want to be paying a bloke decent wages to just kick about in scratchies all year. I think come towards the end of the season the picture around Wright will be a lot clearer.

Presumably was the end of 2018.This was offered by Cameron wasn't it?
My god what a disaster that would have been.
Hopefully GHS didn't get that 5 year deal instead
