Mate I can guarantee on a day like today you would be calling for Atkins head. He doesn't chase or provide midfield pressure and that's what we are lacking, he can't get a game at the wooden spooners, why would he do any good here

To be unfair that's life, normally team just delist injured players season end. Deboer and Barlow are great example if you out of contract and injured too bad.

Reckon you guys should put your first two draft picks and Wright and Brodie on the table and see if U can shake out of the tree a couple of A graders. You have the best young talent and at least four decent players through the academy and NT zone to make up for the draft picks

From what I’ve seen of Will Phillips I think his output could be comparable to Rowell / Anderson their first year. Was just about as impressed watching him last year as I was Matt and Noah, and Will was an underager. Won’t be long before those three would undeniably be our best three mids.

It works both ways. He needs targets leading at him to hit up.
Our forwards just stand there.
I wonder how many of our players would run similar numbers if they were placed in the Sydney side

Don’t find the ball enough and don’t offer much anywhere other then mid.

Greenwood? Are you serious? Elite in clearances, tackles, contested possessions in his first full year as a mid

Greenwood, Weller and Touk would still be part of the rotations. Wouldn’t be wise to play all three kids there at once all the time ( although Rowell already plays like a 150 gamer). Spitta could pinch hit and play up forward in his time left.
If Brodie goes, wondering if they see Alex Davies as that replacement tall inside mid? Has a bit more speed than Will.

More than Cripps, Taranto, Hopper, Yeo, Worpel, Dunkley..
I think he finds enough ball for someone who is probably a defensive midfielder.
