You're the one who thinks it's only YOUR opinion is right, you get that, right?Right, because it's your thoughts and your thoughts alone that matter
You know what they say about opinions right?![]()
Yeah because most people that have stated similar have been shut down, once again by those of a differing opinion.
Same as if the majority did in fact want to split the pick and the minority wanted to use it, then no doubt that minority would once again be shut down.
Also unless you're a recruiter or went to the non-existent U18 games this season then you're relying on the same footage and information as the rest of us are which means little.
That's arrogance at it's finest right there mate.
Like I've said any other year I'd be in the majority here, but given that there's so many variables in play here "I don't believe" it's necessarily the best option.
Now I could be very wrong and to be truthful I hope that I am, because it means we're closer to success than I think we are, but as it stands "I believe" our list has many holes and a single player (especially another ACL case) won't fill those holes.
I don’t think most disagree with the strategy of splitting the pick it’s just that’s it’s a poor draft to do it in with it being so compromised. The pick we would be splitting isn’t even pick 4 but rather pick 5.
You're the peanut who thinks it's only YOUR opinion is right, you get that, right?
instead of saying 'finally someone who agrees with me', you say 'finally, someone get's it"
In other words, only those people who agree with you actually 'get it', actually understand what's going on.
I was going to leave it without comment on your post, but seeing as you are so thick you can't even tell that you are a peanut, I'll spell it out it for you.
People know what you are saying. They don't agree. That doesn't mean that they "don't get it''. Don't confuse agreeing with you with showing understanding of a situation.

Yes, I was irritated, but posted stupidly. You will see I changed it quite quickly, but not quickly enough. SorryCould very well have worded my first line a little better and probably should have however you my friend are acting like an absolute flog.
Bet you're not so tough in person![]()

No, I'm not that tough in person, but when people assume their opinions are right, and no one else 'gets it', I lose it a little bit. Feedback noted.

Did you even read the post that I replied to mate?
Not the edited post, the original post![]()
That’s what MrPremiership is for.Strapping Young Lad is there any chance we can add a countdown clock to the header pages of this and the other thread for the draft? I think cabinet fever is starting to set in![]()
Yes I did but you pretty much dismissed everyone's else contraire opinion by saying "finally someone that gets it". Keep digging your heels in because it's the fourth time this has been mentioned now.
I asked you how many games you've watched and you didn't answer, so it's safe to assume you have watched ZERO. If that is the case I guess you're someone who doesn't get in IMHO. I would never come here and pretend to know anything about underage players or anyone player in any sport on any level if I haven't watched any games.

That moment you go back and proofread your post and realise yhat you wrote ‘cabinet fever’ instead ‘cabin fever’That’s what MrPremiership is for.

I dont think this is the year to split a top 5 pick, due to COVIDSorry did you say something?
Pfft, there's plenty here that "agree" but are just being bullied by some that are of a differing opinion.
I've said before that I'll be happy either way but "I believe" that it would be not only more beneficial but more productive to split that pick.
Especially given where our list is at now.
Any other year I'd be ecstatic to get someone like a Phillips or Thilthorpe but once again given our situation, is that the best option?
But hey things could be worse, I could be frothing over drafting another ACL case and looking at the now as opposed to our long term future![]()

Its been widely accepted that the first 6 picks stand out above the rest, so let’s not trade it out for 2 players that COULD have slid if the kids actually played this season
Just my 2 cents

Thinking that could be more around the mark on several levels. That moment you go back and proofread your post and realise yhat you wrote ‘cabinet fever’ instead ‘cabin fever’![]()
I’m a poet and I didn’t know itThinking that could be more around the mark on several levels.

9 days til the draft! That’s what MrPremiership is for.
5 I believe.Do we have 5 or 6 list spots left?
we have 37 contracted senior and rookie - you can have a max of 42 players so we have 5 list spots.5 I believe.
We have 38 contracted, including Moore.
32 senior, 6 rookies (Cat A - Moore, Jeka, Reeves, Greaves, Brooksby) (Cat B - Pepper)
Harry Pepper is a Cat B and you'd think still being so far away from a senior gig that Reeves might be the other Cat B spotwe have 37 contracted senior and rookie - you can have a max of 42 players so we have 5 list spots.
You can have 2 additional cat b players - we have 1.
Cat b is for next gen academy or players that have not played AFL for 3 years. Reeves is a cat a rookie.Harry Pepper is a Cat B and you'd think still being so far away from a senior gig that Reeves might be the other Cat B spot
