I don’t think it’s that at all. Some players just get injured and a lot of the time it’s younger players - see Marchbank and cunners.

I don’t think it was due to lack of effort at all, some bodies just can’t cope with AFL standards

Would we leave a rookie list spot open in the hope we can grab a bargain in the PSSD or midseason draft.

Might be some late developing kids that didn't have the opportunity to shine in 2020 that might come on early in 2021?

Feels like KPP are the new rucks and will have to show something in VFL etc to get rookied unless they are a class above.

Be very interesting to see how many live picks are taken in the Draft.

I know we need KPD depth but dear god no...every time I watch him he gets rag dolled and I'm surprised he survived on Melbourne's list for as long as he did. I really don't want him at Carlton.

Presumably it's just a delist and re rookie, but they just haven't phrased it that way

I think they've avoided that phrasing, but it is also because of the delays to the season & trade period has meant any players OOC are technically delisted because the contract end date has lapsed

I agree 100%. Always tries his guts out and finally injury free this year started to show something. If only McGov was out of contract he’d be cut

Sean Higgins seemed to constantly injured when young now seems quite durable.

Let's be real, when you look at our total list changes so far this year they were all the obvious choices and don't make much impact on our senior team if any so I'm also happy with the changes.

The only thing for me is that we now have basically zero KPD depth...assume we'll pick up at least 1 mature KPD that can be ready to step up into seniors if we get injuries.

Yep SG....the kid puts in and is very good drifting forward. Nice kick too.
Unfortunately he doesn’t get the luxury of gifted games like some others
