Kicking 4 behinds in the second half is an embarrassing effort from a supposed finals contender
All that elite talent from the top end of the draft and a big name recruit this season and yet another mid to low table finish. For all the praise Teague gets, they’re still pretty average.

Their midfield is still far too weak. It's Cripps and Walsh plus a lot of average to below average players.

Murphy is a soft diver these days. Ed Curnow is an average ball winner. Setterfield is only just going. Dow sucks. Fisher playing half forward. Who do they have on the outside?

They lack 2 classy ball users in the midfield that you need to be successful

Not sure how Dow was a top three draft pick. Looks a bust.

Pies winning was probably best case, feel like without tonight’s win they are not showing enough form to hold off the throng of team below them (most importantly GWS). Where as Carlton has a winnable slate of games coming home and a good enough % to challenge GWS for their ladder position (I really don’t care if they play finals or not, just getting above the Giants would be great)

Gonna be a very interesting last 4 rounds

Need Degoey, Siddebottom and Treloar back after their break in 2 weeks.

How the fu** did we have our second biggest loss of the season to North Melbourne?
Because we were worried about winning and tanked harder than they did. Atkins, Gibbs, Knight and Strachan played that day. Tex had the shits and perhaps others did too and did not report it? Other than that, they were far more better than us on the day.

Because, like Melbourne, they always turn into the Harlem Globetrotters against us.

I think that was more on us than them. Our match against them was even worse than the 2018 Alice Springs disaster. I've never seen a team void of any effort in any sport in that game.

I think the important thing is the win anchors Coll to 6th/7th - be hard for GWS to get ahead of them (needs to win 2 games more than Coll). Melb probably has the best chance to keep GWS out of 8.

My predictor of remaining games results:

Coll (34-->38?): __ W: _______ ?: GC _______ L: por bris
StK (32-->38?): __ W: haw ___ ?: gws _______ L: WC
Mel (28-->38?): __ W: syd ____ ?: fre gws ess _ L:
----- T-8 -----
Gws (28-->38?): _ W: adl ____ ?: Mel StK Car _ L:
WB (28-->34?): __ W: haw ___ ?: fre ________ L: WC
Ess (26-->30?): __ W: _______ ?: Mel _______ L: WC gee por
Car (24-->36?) : _ W: Syd Adl _ ?: GWS col ___ L: bris

Reminds me of a simpler and happier time when Bolton was hand-delivering us Pick 1.

Eat a bag of dicks, Carlton supporters.

Another rebuild looms for you clowns.

I genuinely believe the AFC will be closer to a flag from 2022 onwards than CarLOLton.

Which is bad for the Giants either way.
especially if it gets down to the pointy end and the game just cant be squeezed in to the schedule fairly. and the afl calls it a DNC and awards 2 points to each team.. could end up being a decisive 2 points..
