What if Essendon overtake Fremantle and sit between the Giants and Dockers? Is the deficit enough to drop them two places, or do we only get pick 9 in that scenario?

Nah, this asterisk season which resulted in the fixture that the AFL gave them stuffed them. If they had a bigger supporter base, there will be big complaint to the AFL, their president should be screaming his head off though.

Jars said he had spoken to Sauce and he will be back in Adelaide next year. Has been told by the Giants that they prefer Mumford, which is weird given even at his age he’s been better than anything I’ve seen from Mummy this season.

That is weird indeed, Mumford was done last year and was well and truly overdone this year!

I believe the deficit is enough that Freo would still drop 2 places.

It is, I think - Freo carry over 265 points from last year and pick 8 = 1551 points.

Currently Freo pick 6 = 1751 points - 265 = 1486 would demote to pick 9 and GWS' pick becomes 7.

Freo's r1 pick drops as follows:
#1 - there's thought it would drop by 1 spot
#2 - ---<ditto>---
#3 - drops to #4
#4 - drops to #5
#5 - drops to #7
#6 - drops to #9
#7 - drops to #10
#8 - drops to #12
#9 - drops to #13
