****ing hell, what if you don’t think about it and just don’t care?Agnostics are the worst. Basically a religious person that wants to pretend they are not a religious person to try and avoid discussions with atheists.
You either believe in <insert whichever god represents the physical location you were born in> or you understand that it is all made up.
Do you go with the same logic of "I'm not saying I do believe in ghosts, but I'm not saying that don't believe in ghosts either."
That must be what happiness feels like.******* hell, what if you don’t think about it and just don’t care?
Please don’t spoil Easter bunny******* hell, what if you don’t think about it and just don’t care?
Edit: that seems more aggressive than it was meant to be!

What a ridiculous post, not sure why I'm responding but here it goes.....Agnostics are the worst. Basically a religious person that wants to pretend they are not a religious person to try and avoid discussions with atheists.

I used to think I was an agnostic - although the label wasn't really important to me, pretty much by definition I wasn't interested in religion and therefore not really interested in what "sort" of non-religious person I was.Agnostics are the worst. Lol. I'm not telling anyone what to believe. You seem to be wading into uncertain waters ... maybe it's best if I just leave you with your thought? Yep, I'll do that. What a ridiculous post, not sure why I'm responding but here it goes.....
As far as the theory that God created everything goes, that's blatantly untrue. Science have told us that, and I believe that. Do I believe in the afterlife, heaven and hell and all that ?? Yes I do. I don't go to church and I don't pretend to be anything buy
But atheists will tell you there is no such thing as God or the afterlife.... How do they know that ?? There is no possible way you can do so.
Moreso than a though, I have a large dislike for people who force whatever belief they have on others or worse, like you are doing and mock people for whatever they choose.
There's always a way to get a thread back on trackLol. I'm not telling anyone what to believe. You seem to be wading into uncertain waters ... maybe it's best if I just leave you with your thought? Yep, I'll do that.
Oh, and JJ was horrendous. Which thread am I in? Power suck. There you go, back on track.
I used to think I was an agnostic - although the label wasn't really important to me, pretty much by definition I wasn't interested in religion and therefore not really interested in what "sort" of non-religious person I was.
Then I had an exchange with someone in an online discussion, something like this:
Me: I'm an agnostic because when it comes right down to it, I can't deny the possibility of god existing.
Him: Do you deny the possibility of Thor, Zeus, etc existing?
Me: Well, yeah. Clearly mythological.
Him: So, you're applying a different standard to the Judeo-Christian god, because that's the god you were brought up with / socialised into.
Me: Hmmmm.... Excellent point. I am an atheist.
- And to those who say it's not possible to be 100% atheist because you can't absolutely deny the existence of god, I say (1) long list of reasons / evidence that the Judeo-Christian god is a human invention and (2) there's a lot of "possible but monumentally unlikely" things in the universe; if you live your life like they might actually exist, that way madness lies. At some stage you need to draw the line.
....must...resist.....temptation....to....continue....thread....derailment...I don't know if you have kids mate, but I can't look at mine and nature in general and not acknowledge that a higher being must exist.
For all this to happen by some chance or accident in my opinion is taking a bigger leap of FAITH than believing in a GOD.

That’s a terrible argument. Stan Lee invented Thor.I used to think I was an agnostic - although the label wasn't really important to me, pretty much by definition I wasn't interested in religion and therefore not really interested in what "sort" of non-religious person I was.

It is understandable and easy to come to that conclusion due to the nature of confirmation bias.
Chance is not a big leap of faith when the rolls of the dice are potentially infinite.
We just happen to be the people living on this planet in this Universe, because we are.
Thor is a mythological figure, Stan Lee didn't create him. That’s a terrible argument. Stan Lee invented Thor.
Zeus may exist. As may Mohammed. Jesus may be just some dude who built my hot rod. Or the son of God. None of us were there and no records indicate otherwise.
We know where Thor came from though.
edit ignore all that. Clearly Mohammed was a batman villain.

But you also need to note that evolution and natural selection do not rely only on random chance.Chance is not a big leap of faith when the rolls of the dice are potentially infinite
This post shows me that atheists have greater faith than any religious nut.
