Ever heard of sportsmanship or are you a classless piece of shit?
If a guy walks on the field and he has a weakness you can exploit legally, you do it.

Or are you a weak Mummys boy who has no business on the field ??

I was saying that anybody who commits that act or thinks it's perfectly acceptable, is a classless piece of shit. End of story.
You've shown your true colours, I think you've described yourself well.

1)The rules actually don't allow physical violence off the ball
2)even if they did, it was such a disgraceful display of a complete lack of sportsmanship

I don't really understand how people can excuse actions like that.
Physical violence..... spare me.

You don't do it while he's walking off the field, in the hands of the trainers, just after being injured. Targeting a player in that situation is piss weak.

"Classless piece of shit" is a pretty apt description of anyone who condones that sort of behaviour.

I was talking about him getting hit while walking off the field injured. There was nothing legal about that. If he chooses to go back on the field injured, I agree he's fair game.

As for your mummy's boy comment, that's just toxic masculinity. Your problem, not mine.

Didn't he get reported for unduly rough conduct, or something similar?

It's one thing to target a player who returns to the field after injury. By returning to the field they are effectively declaring themselves fit, which makes them a fair target. It's entirely another to target a player who is leaving the field in the hands of the trainers - that's poor sportsmanship, and possibly dangerous given the possibility of worsening the injury.

Stephen Baker missed game(s) I reckon for repeatedly slapping someone's injured hand. I remember the uproar over the Brisbane boys, but don't recall anyone missing any games.

You called me a piece of shit, don't take the moral high ground like you've tried to in the COVID thread.

I seem to recall Riewoldt had broken his collarbone diving for a mark.

He was staggering around clutching at it for a bit, and while doing that the Brisbane players were banging into him. Then he went off.

Definitely poor sportsmanship, skirting the rules, although not sure what was written down at the time about messing with injuried players.

It was... Mal Michael right? He got reported and also got off I recall. I think it was also the same game where Reiwoldt was on the bench very distressed after the doctor diagnosed the break. Round 1 I recall - and out with a 6 week injury.

Was Chris Johnson involved as well?

I said I thought he was reported... I didn't say that they missed any matches as a result.

I never said I did, you guys just can't read.

That was your fault for advocating a dog act.
I didn't advocate them hitting him as he ran off with the trainers, have a read next time. Or are you a selective reader ??

How else are we supposed to interpret your response? To help your memory, here's the chain of posts:
He inspired that same thug attitude in his players too. I still remember Brisbane players deliberately smashing into Riewoldt as he was trying to leave the field with a dislocated shoulder for example.
And ?? Rooey was on the field, he was fair game.
How else is anyone supposed to interpret that? What were you saying, if you weren't condoning violence against an injured player leaving the field in the hands of the trainers?

You condoned it, and entirely earned the tag of "classless piece of shit" which was directed your way.

While he stayed on the field he was fair game, while he ran off with the trainers, he was not.

Pretty simple id have though.

Youre a very simple bloke, I thought you'd get it.

No... not simple at all. Roo was injured. He was targeted before the trainers even got to him, and again while he was leaving the field with the trainers. At no point was he a legitimate target. You don't target injured players. Full stop, end of discussion.

It would have been fair if he'd returned to the field after treatment, but that never happened. He spent the rest of the game watching from the sidelines, with his arm in a sling.

No matter how much you try and squirm your way out of it, you chose to write a post which clearly condoned an act of violence against an injured player, ergo you are a "classless piece of shit".

They bumped him, it was hardly an act of violence.

Back on the Princess you go.

You said if he was on the field he was fair game. You then backtracked on it when it was clear people weren't going to back you up.
He was fair game, absolutely. You are legally allowed to bump someone while they stand in position like he did.

As he was running off with the trainers.... no of course not. That isn't good.

You don't even bump a player who is coming off injured. You truly are the classless piece of shit that you were labeled.

He had a broken collarbone... they could have caused serious injury by bumping a player with a broken bone.

He didn't stand in position! You're making stuff up in order to defend an indefensible position.
