None, but getting dropped twice last year and seeing the writing on the wall as a best 22 player contributes a fair bit too. His form was tapering off well before the camp.

Dropped once.

2017 was the season before the camp - He kicked 55 goals in 2017.

His form dropped because he lost his passion and love for the game...because of the camp (his own words)

He was happy to stay next year (from what I’ve been told by people close to the club), but an opportunity arose to get back to Melbourne a year early and play for his original club, so he took it. Can’t imagine he would’ve been going back if Bolton was still coaching either, just happened to align for him at the right time and the Crows were wanting to promote youth in 2020, so both parties were willing to deal.
You don’t think the camp and fall out might have impacted on his form just like the rest of the team?

Eddie kicked 55 goals in 17, his form tapered off after the camp.

I know the season before the camp was 2017, his form tapered significantly in the 2nd half of that year.

You don’t have to keep repeating his quote, I can read. He’s not going to kick 50 next season now he’s back at Carlton, his form is not getting any better at 34.

Do you still want him on our list?

I’m sure it did, along with age and a natural drop in form. Anyway, shit, I’ve got into a discussion about the camp again, I’m out.

He was also one of the victims of the legendary “hamstring awareness” in 2018. It was getting embarrassing watching him try to feed off the ball from set shots when he was only 35m out later in the year

BACCS: "I thought Eddie acted poorly"
Moogle: "how so?"
BACCS: "something he said in an article"
Moogle: "which part of the article?"
BACCS: "all the parts Eddie didn't write/say"
Moogle: ...............

Yeah - When asked why she did what she did she pretty much said that it was her fiesty side coming out. The most sorry not sorry apology I've ever heard.
It's so ironic two people who attack keyboard warriors so much are the biggest two I've ever seen. Really hope Cosi sues them

He earned his position on the playing list, had no right to tell the off field staff how to do their jobs.
He wasn't even in the leadership group...

And let's be honest, who actually has fun at their work, that's why it's called a job.
He should've done his job and stop the salty attitude.

He kept up the paid weekly spots talking everything up. Had to stay in character for the extra coin.

I have to be honest, I also agree that any player who brings up the camp now is just using it as an excuse to avoid their real reasons for leaving (or a journalist is).

We were pretty happy for Eddie to go, he knew he had been dropped and would probably be dropped again in the future. This seems a strong motivator to go to Carlton.

Still being upset at not having his mobile and misuse of a message stick at a camp two years ago? It just doesn't seem logical or realistic.

That’s because you’re an apologist.

As for you’re last comment, is that your depth of understanding of the issue? For starters you don’t have a clue what went on at the camp but it was enough to upset a number of players. Second, there’s the handling of the camp fallout. You know the fallout which was bad enough to have a club review and then Burton sacked and a heavy focus on changing the culture at our club.

No it doesn't so it isn't

Are you sure, maybe it was the Twins and the issue's on the Home front, Happy Wife Happy Life,
Maybe it was a few Players and there Partners not happy with him being the father figure,
Maybe he got slow and old,
Maybe the players around him dropping off, putting more pressure on him to perform.
Maybe it was a short camp,
Who Cares, He gone its time to put it to bed.
He Happy his wife happy several others are Happy and the Crows are about to play football in 2020.

But he stuck around, spruiked the club at every turn in his paid spots and then ****ed off when it became clear his golden pass had expired. No doubt the camp was a disaster, but Eddie left because he saw a fair bit of 2’s in his future. No different to Sauce. Selfish players and better that they’re gone.

We made him a megastar but he didn’t want to be subject to playing 2s. Stiff shit, he’s gone along with his annoying kids that found their way into every discussion. Seriously, WGAF how many goals Eddie Jnr thinks Eddie will kick. He’s as much a poster boy of the entitlement culture that Sauce and JJ were.

Did Eddie run over your dog?

People who have recently had kids will tend to talk about them a lot. That's just how people are.

When did he bring up his kids at an inappropriate time? Not trying to catch you out, it's just hard to make a call on this without proper context.

A lot in his regular slots with Rowie and Bicks and also Will and Pembo. To be fair to Eddie, it wasn’t as if the hosts didn’t lap it up, still, Eddie was enthusiastic about it himself. Eddie the person was bigger than the club. As I said, we made him a megastar and he rode the wave. Not that he didn’t contribute himself, but our freewheeling run from defence made him look much better than he was, as it did JJ. When that was found out, so we’re those 2.

I mean these kind of radio shows are usually pretty casual. Maybe he didn't think they'd mind hearing about his personal life.

I think Eddie did a pretty good job of making himself look good with his freakish ability. I'm not sure I'm all that keen on criticising forwards for capitalising on good team play.
