Mentioned in a thread on the MB that it’s Dane Beams. Apparently it was discussed on radio in Melbourne and Beams was named. Ch9 told him not to name the player on tv.

I don't know. We desperately need to get some of our younger players experience given the overdue expiry dates on some of our seniors. If we're starting next year and Fog still only has 14 games or so it's a disaster IMO.

It's going to be a fiasco if they try and run a semi-season.

Yes but they have $28M cash in the bank that they have raised for the Dingley project and a strong asset base and revenue previously, so they would be able to access credit to continue operations relatively easily. Only $500K in loans as well if I am reading their last annual report correctly.

Watching Footy Classified they touched Ricky Nixon and some of the deals he made. Certainly sounded like Salary cap rorting to me. Just makes me angry when I read ongoing stories yet we were bounced on the Tippet saga. How dumb were we then not to challenge.

Adelaide is the place doing really well ATM with only a couple of new cases each day, why not have quarantine precinct at Adelaide Oval?

Ricky Nixon must do a podcast. He was bragging about money he made for Carey and Lloyd and others by manipulating the system. I wonder if any other managers have done this. I keep thinking how Richmond and Geelong manage to keep so many players in their system. Some players take pay cuts to get others in. I wonder what sneaky trade=off are made.

Didn't he use us and the threat of the go-home factor to get more money out of Richmond?

He ended up going to Melbourne a few years later where he played out a pretty unremarkable career.
