I’ve seen Keath have better games

He's having to defend a player, not play as the loose man/3rd defender.

Yep. He was a good third man up backman. Thought he fitted in perfectly at the the Crows, but certainly not worth the contract he was after by the looks.

If they want to play him as a #1 KPD he will struggle.

Be interesting to see if the momentum swings are amplified even more than usual without any crowd .
As it will be entirely up to the players motivation without outside affect my guess is that there will be some big swings and some pretty lopsided results .

Same as last nights game, the umps lifted to get Carlton into the game.

Now Bullflogs getting the umpire assistance to make it closer.

AFL getting closer and closer to the contrived Whitten Legend games.

Short quarters, umps desperate to even the contest, are we having Zooper Dooper goals too?

Made the same mistake Melbourne did with Lever initially. Recruit a 3rd tall interceptor and then make them a key defender.

You have to give the pies some credit, even though it pains me to do so.

all those afl players who keep saying that they make the game, are probably just realizing that its the supporters that make the game special.

Danger told me that it's just a hobby for supporters, isn't he running the AFLPA fighting for the players to get full pay. So far up himself it's unbelievable

All the hype has been that the crows lost lots of great players. Keath lever and gov have been exposed as not worth the contracts they wanted. Similarly CEY and Jenkins can't make the 22 at their new teams. Betts injured with age a likely contributing factor. Greenwood replaceable. Cameron and danger the only real losses

Wow, just saw report on ABC news that AFL will shutdown for 30 days if a player is found to be covid19 positive - not the 14 days that was being suggested previously.

I have been thinking the same thing. The website is absolutely terrible.
-It doesn't show the matches along the top anymore - so if you want to find if there is a game on you have to awkwardly find some way to get to the match centre
-Hard to find what was once easy. Struggled finding Womens footy earlier
-Hard to find basic info such as team announcements - usually hidden in some sub-menu or as a link in an article
-Match centre - couldnt view stats on PC all pre-season
-Match centre - stats/reports/highlight for previous games of years past seems to no longer be there since format change. Probably gone forever.
-Match centre - cannot sort by column/team etc. What a pathetic oversight.
-Match centre - All these stupid drop-down menu's.
