WA Govt has the same policy. It's not stopping teams from playing over there.

Think they pushed the fairness cause stronger. Putting a line in the sand. Hub done. Then I think 1 game in Melbourne and they demanded they’ll go home to WA

The charade of the senior players speaking from the heart, accepting it's not good enough, vowing to do better and having a great week on the track will see them all backed in to respond again. Plus continuity will kick in soon.

I'm starting to think the money I waste on unused AO, AFLW and gold upgrades would be better left in the bank or being a member and supporting the f&b outlet at North Adelaide. Remove myself financially from the AFL altogether. Except for paying for Fox Sports which includes the footy channel.

I’m sure The Victoria in Pt Mac would be happy to take your money and upgrade you to a gold member

WA teams will be playing 7 straight weeks at home after round 6, if this competition has any sort of fairness left in it you would think the SA clubs get the same treatment after round 7. There is no reason for any clubs to be traveling into Vic until they get their shit under control (I’ll just ignore the complete stupidity of the round 7 games).

Courtesy of covid I haven't worn out my welcome yet. But one must be careful in a 1 pub town. I've a sneaking suspicion they'll probably get a fair chunk anyway.

My understanding is that they will fly over as soon as they play their R6 game in Melbourne. They will then play each other, inside a bubble (don't ask me how this works) in R7. They will have done 14 days quarantine by the time they play the WA teams in R8 & R9.

Add the poor state of the ALP in Victoria. Infested with corruption.

There should be a few and one individual in particular that should be serving a jail term soon.
But that would be dependent on the Victorian police doing their job properly.

So far, the record for teams entering the Gold Coast hub is 1-5, with that one win being in the Port vs Fremantle match.

Wonder if it's having more of an impact than first thought

We all know it but this pandemic has really magnified the corruption and lack of fairness within the AFL. I feel utterly dirty to have any involvement in it. It makes me feel complicit by giving my money to subscribe to Kayo, pay my membership of the Crows etc. It’s kind of sickening but I love the game and don’t have another outlet to replace it.
It’s a conundrum.

I still enjoy the actual games. Although don't watch as much as I used too.

Peripheral stuff, ie media, I have no interest in.

How would you ever know they are really isolating?
VFL wouldn't check and if they did and they weren't they'd probably turn a blind eye.

Afl probably think we had a good deal up in QLD because we were able to fly in fly back.

Don't know why both clubs aren't kicking and screaming though.
