We have got a good buffer with basically 3 games needed to over take us.

Pick 2 would be a decent prize (assuming we dont get Pick 2 for Brouch).

Sydney and Horse would be looking to engineer to be placed in that position.

I remember going to a Bays v Sturt game back in the day when Alan Stringer tackled Kym Russell as he kicked it (actually perhaps it was fractionally late) which led to an exchange of opinions near the boundary line. I’ll never forget the sound of a thousand sets of knitting needles being hurled into the floor of the grandstand as a thousand Nanas screamed “knock his bl@@dy block off, Kym”. Your guillotine comparison is perfect!

He panel operates as neither Bicks nor Rowie can do.
So he also anchors the show as well. They've always had someone panel operate, it used to be Leith, but this guy speaks too. I'd imagine he's getting no extra money to speak but to have an on air role would be good for his CV.

We’re going (assuming we get tickets) just because it might be the only game all year. Two poor teams yes, but just want to see the kids live. Get some idea about them that you can’t get on TV.

Thermos, tick. Scarf...here somewhere...tick. Apricot slices, tick..

Honestly, going to two of the four games up here was purely for support (knowing we were likely to lose) and to watch the kids. What goes on off field (selection decisions etc) isn't those blokes fault. And they clearly don't go out to deliberately lose a match. There's no cohesiveness yet between what Nicks wants and what we are capable of, but it'll come. In the meantime, watch glimpses of the future as McAdam flies or Hamill weaves his way through the pack. And I have to admit, knowing that you are shit removes a heap of angst!
