So brave!

So Whateley. He wants the gf at the Gabba so a vic team gets Hm. Interstate teams should hope for a neutral 50 thousand seat capacity hm.

The SA Government have said the Saints could stay here for the week as they play Port 5 days later but Saints said no. There has been nothing from an actual source that has said they couldn’t stay here after being outside of Vic for a couple of weeks.

How are they playing in Adelaide? Surely haven't quarantined and weren't they in Melbourne recently?

Seriously, the AFL need to stand up, can't virtue signal on BLM and then say "guys with sex assault charges...A-OK to play". It isn't the 80s anymore, pull your heads out of your arses, De Goey should not be playing
He's a Victorian superstar player. He cannot not play.

Geelong with very similar stats to the Crows last week and are yet meant to be considered a contender? Please

He just can’t stay quiet can he? Can you imagine if Tex tweeted this after a Crows loss?

He's been a Cat for 5 minutes and he's already perfected the umpire whinge. Must be day 1 stuff with Professors Selwood and Dangerfield.

I think it comes down to:

Port are around the mark so they wont want to give them hga in finals.
The sa govt wouldnt allow hubs here
Chance to promote the game in a non footy state by hosting the gf
They dont like us anyway

Any/all of them will do. Theyre still holding out hope of playing it at the G ffs

The reason they want it a5 the G is because it creates a precedent. The contract with the MCC will have been broken therefore it can be renegotiated if necessary.

The MCC can bitch and moan all they like if it isn’t played there this year and can try and get compensation however if the government won’t allow crowds then the GF can’t be played there. It is that simple, no crowds = no money for AFL.
