Well they are related. The Crows have a history of overpaying to get players in, and collecting unders when they are on the way out.

Any club in the league should expect to pay at least a second round pick for any best 22 player when they are fronting up a four year contract. Third round picks are for junk/depth/retired players

Agreed, despite the fact that i think we had to let Greenwood walk we absolutely got reamed in that trade. I wonder if GC ever did hold the spectre of the PSD over us...

We actually have a history of overpaying for players who bust and then under selling players who go on to do pretty well.
