But the original point was we gave up 2 first rounders which we did.
I don’t know why anyone is trying to argue that.
Just like if I said we gave up a $100 note.
the net result is we are down $50 but we still gave up/used a $100 note.

We haven’t had a neutral game in Adelaide before.

Generally speaking the AFL have prohibited neutral games in SA/WA (Gold Coast at Optus during the Commonwealth Games the exception as Metricon was unavailable). From memory the SACA were practically begging sides to play at Adelaide Oval in the early Crows days.

I certainly was on the receiving end a few times through life and it never killed me. Just made me more capable of handling different experiences.
Developed a preparedness for anything.

An actual plan that involves targeting an opposition player that pushes the legal and sportsmanship's lines is a huge step forward. Bravo I say.

It kind of dovetails into this thing with the boys being boys Richmond thing. Our perpetual nice guy image and likely reality that the team is a bunch of angels Just doesn’t work. I’d say if we had a hard uncompromising bunch maybe wi wouldn’t have wilted under pressure in our last GF appearance. As Phil said “under pressure you revert to type”. We need the tough type that form a band of brothers. I don’t need to know how they achieve that or what crazy shit they get up to. I just want to see the result onfield. 2017 team always had that soft underbelly.

We tended to get beaten without giving a yelp, on ground or in the coaches box and then at selection.

They do, but tbh the umpiring interpretation of HTB has again been super inconsistent today
