Mansell looks decent for us as an SPP selection. North had dibs on him for nothing but apparently didn’t show enough for them to pick him up.

Is tough and a good kick. Can see him as a small defender. Good signs early.

Came on a lot in the SANFL.

Was nowhere near draftable at 18 in the TSL.

Yeah he was overlooked by all clubs. The one thing that got him his contract with Richmond was has tenacity at training and attitude. Being able to see these sorts of players close up at training was obviously the kicker. Hopefully he can lure his cousin across when his contract is up. Will be a decent Aarts upgrade.

Poulter BOG Today Easily in the VFL

25 Touches. Seems to Read the Play Well and Very Clean with Ball.

Good User by Foot and Love how Attacking His Touches are.

This looks a high quality draft already which is surprising given the lack of U18s football

JUH unseen but has been kicking goals in the twos and will love playing in front of WBDs midfield brigade

Thilthorpe 5 on debut and just looks an absolute star

Phillips some glimpses without being super exciting at this point

McDonald just looks a plug and play 12 year key forward who will consistently kick goals

Campbell playing brilliant footy for Sydney early, has slowed down a touch but looks a gun

Cox is a 200cm freak with the game of a midfielder, I haven’t been this excited about an Essendon draftee

Perkins starred in the VFL as a midfielder and showing great signs in the AFL

DGB, Hollands and Reid highly rated but largely unsighted as yet due to injury

Tom Powell is quietly putting a tidy season together.
Gulden started like a house on fire as well
Give it a few games, but i reckon Conor Stone will turn a corner soon. Looks like he's building.
Chapman & Berry have also been very solid.

I’ve been super happy with Sam Berry pressure and tackling machine. Riley was great yesterday enjoyable to watch

Tom Powell & Errol Gulden arguably the most consistent across the first 6 games.

Looks a strong draft.

I think I'm in love.

he hasn’t had a game where I haven’t shaken my head at something he’s done.

18yo 6’7” midfielder who runs ~15km a game, usually sits atop the average speed tracker and can kick it 60m to a teammate off either foot. At 18.

Seasoned draft watchers had him going late first round and a big risk. I do wonder if we would have picked him at 6 if we didn’t have the Daniher compo and the Saad trade. Maybe our luck is finally turning

As someone on our board put it, what a year for top end talls in the draft
Thilthorpe looks like he will be elite
McDonald looks like he will be a plug and play key forward for the next decade at least
Cox - WOW, just WOW

Then you have JUH and DGB who are yet to debut but are very highly rated kids who could easily go on to be franchise type players

Yeah the way Thilthorpe moves would have you guys drooling. Great turning circle, light on his feet, good overhead... And he just seems to know when to go.

Reid who we took at #10 is a smooth mover and has super clean hands for a 203cm bloke as well.

If they all come on like they should it might be the best ever top 10 for bigs.

I am so excited by Powell - he has insane hands, high footy IQ, natural ball winner, kicks quite well and he's alot quicker then he looks as well. But just such a smart footballer and still very lean, but no issues in the midfield against AFL bodies.
He is a favorite of mine being from sturt footy club. Absolutely racked them up at junior levels and comes from good stock with dad matt playing AFL and also some great SANFL with sturt. Just hope your coach keeps playing him..#envious (wish he was at the crows!!)

Lol, we have about 27 fit players on the list at the moment, I don't think that's a problem.

If anything he's been easing him into it gradually. He's still only attending 3 or 4 CBA's a game, as he's still a rake.

Makes his ability to find the ball all the more impressive, seeing as he's being doing a major % of it at half forward.

He's a nailed on 30+ disposal winner as early as year 2 or 3.

He's not too dissimilar to Clayton Oliver imo.
