we have a good relationship with colin young
I doubt he walks out on another club while under of contract.
Young is playing the game I reckon.
Not sure it would be wise for us to spend big on another small forward, as good as he is.
Or a midfielder of that ability would be even better.freo said the same about hill.
i would. he's an out and out match winner. they're very rare.
cameron and king in one forward line, would be insane.

Think Crouch is done at Adelaide they will be happy to get a mid first rounder for him as compo and I think he would fit out style well.I wonder if we have another look at Brad Crouch? His contact would be a lot more modest this time around & he’s a free agent.
It'll be a very high first rounder the way they are going?Think Crouch is done at Adelaide they will be happy to get a mid first rounder for him as compo and I think he would fit out style well.
But who knows who we are looking at. They way they went about it last time, they have runs on the board.
I disagree. You pay a million bucks a year for match winners regardless of position. I think he’s ripe for the picking & about to hit his peak. Adding someone of his quality could be the difference between fighting for a finals spot & a top four spot.

Will he ever get picked? 10 players mysteriously on the outer
Four rounds into the season, a host of players remain on the outer at their clubs. When will their time come?www.afl.com.au
a couple of targets here, constable and withereden would be massive.

I'd throw the kitchen sink at isaac heeney.
I know he has plateaued in recent times, but it's still a pretty high plateau and that is what could make him slightly more gettable perhaps?
I reckon he'd thrive playing as an inside mid on the ball all day everyday (joel selwood style)... something he doesn't get to do because of kennedy.
I'd offer him a million bucks + a year long term and back him in to become a very close imitation of joel selwood in his prime if given a fulltime inside mid spot.
He's just the type to do what Lovett did. He'd get found in an alley trying to fellate a hobo with a kilo of heroin on his first day at the club.
I doubt anyone is paying Crouch the type of money that gets the Crows band 1 compensation. I reckon absolute max he gets is close to 700k pa & that ain’t getting band 1 under the current system.
Didn't he want a mill?
Charlie Cameron is a star and I'd love to have him but I think our priority in both salary cap and trade capital is better spent on a gun midfielder than a small forward.
If we keep getting others except class mids we will never reach our peak. And he would cost a first rounder for sure plus huge salary cap space And he will be 27 next year. No from me. He did last year, & nobody was willing to pay him that amount, but I think he would take a far more modest deal this time around. He’s out of contract so he can’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

Game has changed a lot since then. Mids are more important than forwards now. Forwards are averaging less and less every year and that will continue unless there are some rule changes that the coaches can’t exploit.Milne and GTrain good. Just need Battle to become Rooey and we are golden.
Are talking Charlie Cameron. I’m confused if we arent25 next year

Ok. I’m lost. I agree with you nowThe post you quoted was in relation to JDG.
Upgrading the midfield still need to be our number 1 priority and spending over 800k plus multiple first round picks on a small forward doesnt help us do that.Cameron is so good though. He makes goals from nothing.
