One of my Richmond mates is a huge draft nut and was really big on Caldwell. I didn't see enough of him to judge in is draft year and his GWS form has been average when I watch them but this guy knows footy and gets most things right. He has an excellent ability in judging junior talent. He called Dusty winning a Brownlow a few years in when most wanted to sell him off. He's really good at spotting guys that become champions long term. He thinks Jye is a potential star, his opinion is good enough for me. If we can get him we should get him. On a side note he reckon Shai Bolton and Noah Balta are going to be special players long term. He reckons Balta will be a better player than Rance.

I will agree with him on Bolton and Balta, they are very special players

I cannot think of one reason why he wouldn't.

His body has held up very well until the weekend and in as good of form he's been in since his AA year.

From the video and the horses mouth. He was on the way back to Melbourne for surgery and straight into rehab.

Would suggest he will be playing for sure. has another year on the contract and it is not a ruptured tendon, requires corrective surgery but don't think it is career threatening.

I wanted both them too, but Balta fell half way between our Coff and Clav picks so was never a chance.

We still did plenty good that draft.
If Clav becomes a player then it will be an excellent draft for us, but I've got an uneasy feeling he was a Trout special and taken on character..

the love i have for the big fella after this season has gone through the roof. i don't think i've had this feeling for a saints player since Lenny.

everything he did on the weekend was just epic!!!

i know the club talks about the crest, the way he played on the weekend, surely he absolutely nailed it.

can't wait to see him play next year and how he can help mentor the guys around him!!!

Remember listening to a Bombers game about ten years ago thinking how much I would love to have had Ryder. Had to wait a decade but he hasn't disappointed.

Really the moneyball players him and Butler have been a revelation

He was an u18 All Australian so he must have played some good football to warrant being drafting.

Im hoping he has just needed some time to grow into his frame
