He's been in Adelaide since the season ended.

He's heading back to Melbourne.

AFAIK they have until 5PM to match the offer and if they do not match, he will be a Saint. So yes in essence.

That might be their way of trying to save face. "Oh we were going to match, but there was a timezone miscalculation".

OKay, that's fair enough, so in about five hours time (ie three hours after he lands) JRF should comment he's been spotted back at Tullamarine.
