After the weekends game should would say we are the worst performed side at the moment.
North a chance against Carlton, Richmond and us.
Hawthorn could see wins against Collingwood and us.

Horne is far from the saviour to our problems but could be an important piece along with someone in PSD and pick 20 and 21

Honestly, if we have pick 2 I would look to see what it would take to trade down and get both GWS picks.

What would be worth giving up in addition to pick 2 for picks 5 and 7 (say)? Is Crouch compo enough?

Would GWS get into this with us again? Maybe, seeing as Ash has worked out pretty well for them

As long as we can still get someone like Roberts I wouldn’t mind looking at doing that type of deal

That's what I was thinking. Would depend if they had their eye on someone, I guess.

GWS might pay the farm for Horne too.
GWS probably have a full salary cap. If Kelly stays then things will be very tight and a player on minimum salary that plays next year would have value to them.

They might pay three firsts for him. They could do that direct with North or they could use us depending on what North want to do.

Possibly: We get their two 2021 firsts. North get pick 2 and GWS 2022/1. GWS get Horne.

Jason McCartney was pretty sour on the Crows over the Jackson Hately episode, might need to be very enticing to get him in.

He may have sweetened over time. It's looking more & more like we did them a favour, taking him off their hands.

Another mid is hardly a list need for GWS at this juncture. I'd think athletic intercepting KPD Josh Gibcus would be high on their shopping list and they're currently in the sweet spot as regards talls/rucks, maybe even an early bid on exciting Demons NGA Ruck/KPP Mac Andrew who is only tied to the Demons if the bid comes after pick 20 this draft?

I can already pick the SANFL's rookie of the week video player this week, it will be 17 year old tall forward Harry Lemmey
:p

The initial flights were cancelled, and an early Showdown was on the cards. But, now, in another twist, both SA clubs are set to flee the state. Here’s the latest.

The SA teams had started the day preparing to host games at Adelaide Oval, before heading to their bases and packing buses expecting to fly to Melbourne or Queensland.

They were then told they would stay the night at home as a Showdown - originally scheduled for Round 21 - emerged as the likeliest fixture option.

But the Power and Crows are now heading east, as Queensland has declared SA a hotspot after it recorded five cases in the past two days and was set for a lockdown from 6pm on Tuesday.

Both teams had yet to be granted an exemption to be able to train this week. The final Round 19 fixture is yet to be confirmed but Port Adelaide is expected to play Collingwood on Friday night, as per the original fixture.

Don’t reckon he was. Bit of pantomime there. He knew that Hately was a bit of a spud too
Why didn't we?

All our draft scouting data would have still been fresh plus Nicks coached him for a year

Doesn't fill me with a great deal of confidence that we'll build a quality midfield anytime soon

They probably thought they would be able to improve him, having got him home, but he has got worse, I'm afraid.
Let this be a warning to those longing to get Rankine back.

It's just that we all still remember his match winning performances at the nationals, just one year after we needed such an X player in our GF, a player who can truly them a big game on its head.
