Need to have a word to O’Loughlin too by the looks of it...Nice of us to have a word with Keeler and tell him to calm down with the 5 goal games....![]()
Tom Powell levels..he went 1st round in last years draft and seems to have stepped up at AFL level quite seamlesslyNeed to have a word to O’Loughlin too by the looks of it...
“O’Loughlin’s footy smarts were again on display when he sprinted 30 metres to plug the gap in-front of a leading South Adelaide forward and prevent a near-certain shot on goal. Blayne finished with a game-high 44 disposals (30 kicks and 14 handballs), nine marks, four tackles and eight rebound 50s in what could well be his best performance at Under 18s level to date.”
44 disposals... fu** me.
Small defenders rarely go early, he'll be ours unless he can prove he can play other roles further up the field.Tom Powell levels..he went 1st round in last years draft and seems to have stepped up at AFL level quite seamlessly

Tom Powell was an AFL size - O'Laughlin holds a bit of risk due to his lack of heightTom Powell levels..he went 1st round in last years draft and seems to have stepped up at AFL level quite seamlessly
lets hope so. Although young pickett at Melbourne is not letting lack of height stop him from being electricTom Powell was an AFL size - O'Laughlin holds a bit of risk due to his lack of height
I don't know how much you've watched Blayne but he's a totally different player to Kosi.....Isaiah Dudley you might make some sort of comparison though he's not in the same class as Kosi re his ferociousness or aerial talent.lets hope so. I have not seen Blayne play..only from what I read here so I will take that all on good adviceI don't know how much you've watched Blayne but he's a totally different player to Kosi.....Isaiah Dudley you might make some sort of comparison though he's not in the same class as Kosi re his ferociousness or aerial talent.
I'd be hoping for Campbell Chesser or Ben Hoobs with our first currently and if McAsey flies the coop I'd be looking seriously at getting hold of whatever pick it will take to nab Josh Gibcus, currently my feel is that would be late 1st/early 2nd. Draper IMO will need to find more ball as the season wears on to go that high, Matthew Roberts I'd have ahead of Draper at this time of the "other" SA lads..Gee, South Adelaide have got some talent this year.
My long shot at this stage is we will pick Arlo Draper with our first pick in the draft.
I don't think we will be in Horne territory by draft time.

Whos this Grubb lad???.. channel 7 put an article up with a video of him frothing about him the other day with the headline
“Lachlan Grubb lighting it up in South Australia
Remember the name.”
Only 177cm... but lightening fast and chock full of talent looking at the vid they put up.. sorry, couldnt link the vid to here..

Not such good news for us with Blayne now joining the AFL Academy which will bring him right into focus, unfortunately local Ballarat Rebel KPD joins him too who I had penciled in if Fischer flies the coop..

Blayne O! Nephew of Swans great gets Academy call-up
North Adelaide's Blayne O'Loughlin has been showing family traits of latewww.afl.com.au
THE NEPHEW of Sydney great Michael O'Loughlin has been called up to play for the NAB AFL Academy this month after a hot start to the season.
Blayne O'Loughlin, who is tied to Adelaide's Next Generation Academy, is one of four inclusions for the prestigious group's clash with Geelong's VFL side on April 24.
The Crows will have first call on the skillful Indigenous half-forward via the NGA system if he does not attract a bid inside the first 20 selections on draft night.
The additions round the group up to 25 participants, with 21 of the Academy members named at the end of last year. The AFL kept open several places to allow for players who impress early in the season to be rewarded with positions in the Academy.
The Academy side will face the Cats' VFL side at GMHBA Stadium as a curtain-raiser to Geelong's clash with West Coast later that day, with the match starting at 10.10am local time. The game will be the centerpiece of a five-day camp in Melbourne, which will include meeting recruiters from clubs.
Wow, there is a lot of red on that chart!
Leans more to a defender but can play just about anywhere reallyWow, there is a lot of red on that chart!
Also, I was under the impression that Sinn was a midfielder? He's listed here as a defender.
West AdelaideFTFY..Perhaps Melbourne should start compensating the Crows as whenever we get any of their draft picks they play great. Other years they tank.

Crows should use this to their advantage if McAsey wants to go home . Nothing but a pick from 15 to 20RIVAL CLUBS CIRLCE TIGER CUB
Richmond young tall Callum Coleman-Jones is reportedly set to be a figure of interest in the coming off-season, as clubs look to adapt to a lack of tall prospects in this year’s national draft.
Jones, taken with pick 20 in the 2017 draft, has managed only one game at senior level given the form the side’s tall timbre has been in across its premiership run, and is yet to be signed beyond 2021.
Additionally, the 21-year-old had been serving a 10-game AFL suspension for his COVID-19 rules breach during his side’s time in the Queensland hub last year.
The Herald Sun reports rival clubs are keeping an eye on Coleman-Jones, with Greater Western Sydney having already attempted to lure him out of Tigerland in recent years.
Some clubs are prepared to offer up late first-round selections in a bid to secure his services, the report details.
B.O.G. last night in the VFL.A late first round selection.
My god, if it wasn't obvious that it was Richmond floating that story earlier in the article, it was once they said that.
