Thoughts on Dudley and O’Loughlin today? Any chance to be drafted/rookie?
Honestly, North were that bad that we'd probably have our next two drafts stripped from us if we lost that game. Because we tried to tank it by selecting the youngest squad we had all year (and one firmly in the "you're going to get belted badly" experience range).
That might have been the single worst effort I've ever seen at this level. Like they could have gone to the local bus stop, round up 22 randoms and they're probably giving a better effort than Norths squad that week.
I made a similar call after the 1st state game. This kid can make the game slow down. He will be a great pick up.Im Calling it now Wanganeen Milera will be a star From this draft and
Would be a great Pick up for us. Great user of the ball and Moves well In traffic. May need to get creative With our drafting and trading in order to get him
Well I only bet when the odds favour me and in this case I believe Darcy is long odds on to debut inside 4 years, the only thing you've really got going for you is if he sustains a really bad injury.
I refer you to Lachlan Gollant.

He'll play useful AFL footy inside 4 years Colonel barring major injuries.there’s a difference between debuting and being ready
Yes..but carlton being carlton they would have ruined him as a player and he would have been a charlie dixon instead..oops am i allowed to be that disrespectful
I would give both another year (at least) before drafting them. I'd like to see their combine results, particularly for Dudley, considering he's reasonably quick for someone who could get a fair bit fitter and because he's bloody skillful.Thoughts on Dudley and O’Loughlin today? Poor deluded bugger..best career move he ever made getting outJK desperately did not want to leave Carlton
I only saw the last quarter, but was impressed with O'Loughlin. His kickouts were more than just kickouts, he actively tried to create play and actually generated goals.
I wasn't impressed by the look of Dudley, particularly his massive paunch for one so young. He also looks a bit slow, but seems to be a very good kick for goal. I had significant Stengle vibes looking at him.
Well they'll need pick 4 for thatApparently richmond keen on Hobbs

Apparently.Well they'll need pick 4 for that![]()
north wont be giving up pick 1 for pick 3 or 4 and CCJ.. CCJ is worth a second round pick at the very most…Heard they were very keen on Horne-Francis, and were looking at getting pick 4 from us or pick 3 from Gold Coast for 7 & 16. Then using pick 3 or 4 and Callum Coleman-Jones to get pick 1 from North Melbourne.
Maybe a win-win-win for the three clubs involved.

if push comes to shove.. North can just walk him to the PSD and get him for nothing and keep all their picks including pick 1..
None of that is correct. He aint just walking there.
If push comes to shove, Richmond can just trade CCJ to another club, and North Melbourne can again try to look for another 200 cm forward/ruck. Also as he is a restricted free agent, Richmond can simply match any offer North make in the PSD.
Not when he's out of contract they can't.He aint just walking there.

He is just the sort of player we need with good foot skills and terrific decision makingI made a similar call after the 1st state game. This kid can make the game slow down. He will be a great pick up.

None of that is correct.
1. CCJ can refuse a trade with any other club
2. He can refuse to sign any contract Richmond put in front of him and he ends up in the PSD anyway.
It funny hearing Richmond talking tough about playing hardball after they have pillaged the league for years. LolHe is uncontracted and can walk to PSD - Richmond have zero leverage on that one
