As for the AFL, what about refunds and credits for next year?

Weird.
0 cases in weeks now isn't it?
Perth now with a full house.
SA is definitely the most conservative state in re to covid.
I'd say WA is the more conservative state regarding Covid related border closures. But when it comes to opening the state back up after lockdown, we're nearly as slow as Victoria are. The Vics have valid reason to open up slowly though, not sure what Marshall's excuse is. Think the power has gone to his (and Nicola's) head.

It's been clear for a long time that Nicola is paranoid of a breakout here so her will to open up is minimal. She's in over her head. We haven't had a single mystery case or a case that was infectious whilst in the community for 3 weeks.

Insanity, isn't it. A 25k evenly spread out crowd like the prelim final last year would've made sense. But 15k where the top part of the riverbank stand is completely closed off? What the *? Common sense just doesn't seem to prevail with these stubborn pricks.

Anyone who votes for the marshmallow libs in the next state election should move out of SA.

Libs are going to piss it in. Have had the shortest lockdowns and least amount of disruptions compared to the eastern states. To be fair I don't think a Labor state govt would have resulted in many, if any changes to our life re: covid had they been in charge when covid began last year. But during times where the public perceives a crisis, the incumbent - barring something catastrophic, is always going to win.

Id say continually pandering to the Silver Haired Witch will win Marshall votes not lose them.
Marshall wont lose. The hysterical support of people on talkback of the government forcing Olympians to do an extra 14 days quarantine after being fully vaccinated, being in a bubble in Tokyo, tested everyday over there, then in hotel quarantine in Sydney for 14 days, tested several times, is proof people are supporting excessive caution.

If Port earns a home final (or maybe 2), and we continue to see zero cases, then SURELY the government will lift the ground capacity to a MINIMUM of 50%.

50% would still be s**t. It should be 100%.

Now there is a mouth-watering, not-to-be-missed matchup!
Wont be mouth watering but might be a decent contest.

If North win, they will have the equal 2nd most wins (and a draw) for a wooden spooner with Brisbane.

Collingwood in 1976 won 6 games and Brisbane 1998 had 5 wins and a draw, the second season after the merger with Fitzroy and things not going as smoothly as they had hoped, after winning 10.5 games the year before and getting into finals by (plenty of) percentage over Port in our debut year.

It's easy to s**t bag North, but this will be their first wooden spoon since 1972. They won 1 game that year and then went and got Ron Barassi to coach them who took a year off in 1972, and whilst they voted against the new free agency 10 year rule after the VFL implemented it in January 1973, they were the first ones to move and use it and recruited 3 club captains, Barry Davis from Essendon, John Rantall from South Melbourne and Doug Wade from Geelong. That's how you get yourself off the bottom to win a flag 3 years later.

I'm led to believe that the game has been declared a lock in, to stop the crowd leaving early - which I think is unfair on Adelaide's 4th quarter members.
