Key Off-Season Dates
This is a comprehensive list including dates for draft combines, list lodgements, delisted free agency windows and return to train dates. I had to collate these from three different club websites because the AFL is lazy af and doesn't have it on their website, so thought it might be helpful to share:

FAQs & Resources Thread

It has an index at the top with threadmarks so it's easy to find what you're looking for – or easier than scrolling through 250 pages of AFL Rules, Regulations and CBA pdfs anyway.

These sorts of questions are all answered along with a bunch of other resources made by posters from across BigFooty (feel free to add to it!):

How is that not a premiership winning list?
Aside from the coaching and the injury prevention / management, of course?

I think it absolutely is, if we can get a clean run of injury (said that before) and fall short of a deep finals run then Leon probably has to go, I think the recruiting/list management side of things has been really good and some of the best in the competition given the difficulties they've faced. It's on the coaching staff to take this team deep into finals because to me everything else is in place. This team has the top end talent to compete right now as well as heaps of talent under 24 to compete long term.

Good grief, the draft threads are overrun with horrendous trades for pick #2. Some posters envisaging GWS will just hand it over for complete crap. This last week coming is going to be painful on the boards!

that’s what we are here for supposedly. We are supposed to roll over for stupid trades. 🤣 dopes.

Any truth in the pick trade talks that's floating around between North and GWS? Was something like North pick 20, 42 and maybe 47 for GWS 13 and future pick. You get enough points to match fahey and take Callaghans mate alongside matching fahey bid and North get another pick in the first round.

Doesn't sound real. We've already got enough points for Fahey so don't need any more. Any rolling #13 back to #20 increases the risk that someone bids on Fahey and #20 gets spent on him, making the other 5 picks worthless to us.

Oh, and we give up a future pick to help make this happen? I think someone's pulling your leg. Someone's looking at the rumours around GWS selecting Blake Howes, reckons he's not worth #13 (15) and proposed this monstrosity of a trade to make something out of it all in Norths' favour.

If it makes you feel better the last month and a half have been painful for me 🥳

I’ll have 3 Oysters with the Gin & Lime Granita, 3 Oysters Kilpatrick, 3 Oysters Natural and 3 Oysters Mornay with Crab Meat for an entree.

For main I think I’ll have the 400g Wagyu Rump. Peppercorn Sauce on the side with the honey & cumin glazed carrots and I think I’ll have fries instead of fat chips.

Desert….probably just an Affogato thanks.

Oh, and a bottle of the Wild Duck Shiraz thanks.

Okay, now that you have bought me a wonderful meal, I’ll let you f*** me.

That's the bit that makes me really go WTF.

Yeah, we probably don't have enough sympathy for you guys and the flood of ... enquiries/discussion that you cop.

And then the crap you cop from those who don't like your commentary, or answers.
Oh no that I don't care about, I'm talking about how everyone turns into an "draft expert" after the grand final

Just clarifying, I still hate the picks you made for us in your phantom

Little surprised there has been no link between Leek Alleer and us for that 2nd selection.

15 would be about 10-15 spots earlier then what he is projected but he could play next year and really add to our defensive depth chart.

If we take Callaghan as expected and Rachele, Gibcus and Andrew are off the board I reckon Alleer would make the most sense. His leap is off the charts and he has played against men for a full season.
