I remember I was spewing when we didn't take him, was always gonna be a hit, still have high hopes for Philp though. If only we knew how to develop players.

And that's how obvious it is that Robertson is going to be a player whereas Philp will be lucky if he isn't delisted in two years .

My point is clear.

It's pathetic you're bagging a 19 year old Carlton player who is injured because another 19 year old kid who has played 9 games of senior footy is playing well elsewhere.

Must be a slow Friday night.

Why would it matter what we paid for them? Both Setters and Kennedy were first round draftees - they clearly had lots of talent.

Neither are at the level they should be. Same can be said for Dow, LOB and Samo. We clearly have a problem with our development/coaching, that's the point I'm making.

Not all players are solid players at ages 21 and 22. They are still young and developing. Players develop at different speeds too.
