If he was a premiership player he'd automatically be a life member

10 years service to be eligible for nomination, but not guaranteed. But would be eligible for nomination to board if they nommed him and it was voted in favour at AGM. Premiership player appears to not qualify on its own. I can't see him having been awarded life membership after leaving the club around the 10 year mark.

Players are given life membership if they're premiership players. Marlion Pickett is a good example, played his first game in GF and automatically became a life member at Richmond.

TBH, I think you're other point holds more weight. If he nominated for election to the board its unlikely he'd draw enough votes

Clubs aren't required to unless it's written in the constitution. They use part e) to get past the 10 years service requirement. Note that these are eligibility criteria, it's a member decision by vote at an AGM if the club deems them eligible. The membership could vote no. If Lamumba accepted the nomination, it still needs to be voted on at an AGM. He'd risk a no vote, I doubt he'd have accepted a nomination either way.

Not normally they aren't.

From memory there was a bit of controversy when they won in 2017 and Jack Graham got made a life member.

Sounded like his lawyer was concerned for his clients mental state. He’s locked up in solitary essentially, probably thinking, “**** I’ve just done my career”. A week to stew on it without much distraction could be pretty dangerous.
Sorry, I didn’t put it very eloquently.

All covid risk prisoners are isolated. Being alone with his thoughts might be a good thing for him. He wore out his welcome at grandmas house after returning home for a funeral. Needs to sort his shit out. Assuming he walks out, being held accountable like this can't hurt.

Will it tho? I sincerely have doubts.
Will be in Australia.

Mind you this year is ending ok... the other night a good mate who posts here brought over a 1990 Wynn's John Riddock to go with a 2005 Liebich Old Vine Shiraz & Webber cooked aged rib eyes over 600 grams each.

Very enjoyable.

End is shit, we had to let Ralph go on Monday. 1 week earlier on his birthday he was as good as you'd expect for a bulldog turning 13. 3 days later we were at the vet getting shit news and walking out with a bunch of Hail Mary drugs.
