Tredrea had a crack at our guy Pembo, when Pembo defended our club and Tredrea played the “telling it like it is” line

Well, Pembo, Will (we know you read this Will), here’s a breaking at 8 for you, in the interests of “telling it like it is”. Good news is your old boss Keith Thomas won’t mind now, so all good.

Treadrea was right though. Our first rounders are poor. Last really good one was Smithers.

You don't rate the Dude?

He wasn't our 1st pick in that draft, but he was still taken inside the 1st round.

*** Having said that, most of our 1st round picks since Smithers have been underwhelming to say the least.

Right or not, Tredrea forgets that the first thing Keith Thomas did when he was appointed CEO was to go out to all SA media and tell them to stop printing bad news about Port as it was making it harder for them to be commercially viable.

Apparently a 2nd or 3rd year player & sackable offence if proven to be true... & they have quite a few guns amongst this list.
If it's a good player you can 100% guarantee they won't be sacked. Port are nothing if not predictable. And predictable means that they will brush it under the carpet and then claim 'mental health' for the poor lad.
That's IF the media mention it at all. If not, they will just ignore it like the Covid breach.

Moral's aren't a strong point down Port way.

Cos Cardone on their Board is also an influence.

Also, Silvers is not the first AFL CEO Olsen has appointed [emoji6]

theres a lot of moronic things footballers do that can be “swept under the carpet”... not sure sending explicit photos of yourself to a minor is one of those though. That’s an extremely serious matter that would involve the police.

any player, no matter how promising a player they are, found guilty doing that should be booted from the AFL immediately.

Is a three week suspension a good time to get surgery on a pesky foot injury???

I don't think this particular issue relates to Rozee (I believe it is more to do with an arrow). However, the Rozee surgery timing is weird. Why did he play against us in a match that meant absolutely nothing, instead of having surgery immediately? It made no sense. He could have had the surgery and missed zero normal season games.

Yep, that was a decision that I'd expect more from our club than them.

Looks like a thread titled something like "Who is the mystery player?" from last night has been deleted**. Their MODs must be quashing any discussion on this ... we'd never do anything like this here, would we?

**ok, so I was a bit bored :$

And some say we should have drafted him ... wonder if we dodged an arrow there**

**if it is him.
Which is refreshing. Normally when an arrow is aimed at us, it seems to hit us multiple times.
