I was.

We had a weekly class where we would cook a 4 course meal for each Wednesday lunch for teachers & also we enjoyed the spoils. At the end of the term, we spent our profits to go out to a quality restaraunt like Rigonis.

I learnt to appreciate making great food of all different cuisines... & still love cooking today, but now I use more alcohol ;)
My school had two commercial kitchens for home ec(onomics). In year 10, boys were allowed to cook and girls were allowed to do woodwork for the first time ever. We had two fellas that took it up and did they ever get razzed. Turned out, both became top class chefs! My kid didn’t get taught cooking at school, which really surprised me... so I bought him cooking lessons at a Jamie Oliver cooking school and we did it together for 7 weeks when he was 14. He loved it And it certainly broadened his palate.

Did you cook the food or just paint it? 🤔

We did similar, when we finished our woodwork projects we were able to do home ec, loved it, also gave us the opportunity to set someone up for the pictures Saturday night😉

Post of the Day.

Gosh there was a happy ending to what could have been a frightening night. This board was rocking.

I think we hit 50 pages inside an hour post game.

I think most of them were mine. :$

It was a beautiful night, our Mods must have sat back post siren and had a few drinks and cigars because it would have been a long long night for them if Port had won.
It would have been unbearable, but it just means we hate port more than the tigers.... Actually I hate port almost a much as I hate collingwood. (almost).

When they won the flag back in August, they were intolerable on here.

Rocking up, posting stupid comments, liking random posts. It wasnt just one of them. Like cockroaches, they were everywhere, multiplying in numbers.

It peaked after Week 1 of the finals.

Then Karma met Ken.

I've been thinking about Essendons draft haul and think they may have had a shocker. The Victorians all with a year of is the game is a gamble X 3.

They took needs over form, and I have high concerns that the two talls may bust, were just haven't seen their improvement this last year - through no fault of their own.

They are at best, even if they had played all year, 50:50 to make the grade, and probably only 35:65 likely to make it based on form 1 year out - given we know there are sliders and bolters.

Mids must have a higher ratio of 'making it', but it's all on Archie Perkins, who has Jaidyn Stephenson (alleged) party boy feel to him.

I'm thinking they, along with north, are going to seriously bottom out 2021.

Not sure about Perkins and the party boy tag. The little I've read he seems quite focussed both on football and completing a commerce degree at Melbourne Uni.

Seriously, I have no real insight beyond a couple of articles and interviews though

This KFC sponsorship is perfect, I moved down the road from one 9 months ago and have been trying to kick the habit all COVID. Now I have the perfect reason - ensuring my hard-earned money isn't funneled to unethical organisations!

Speaking of KFC, has any ever had the burger without the bun that had 2 pieces of chicken? Not a regular item, but would have to be one of the best things I’ve eaten at the end of a big night. Surprisingly less calories than a normal burger because of no bun.

I've polished off two of them in one go, plus a chips (with extra salt) and drink.

How were the guts the next morning?

I can’t understand why it wouldn’t be a regular item. I dare say most people were put off my the sounds of 2 pieces of chicken, didn’t give it a go and it didn’t sell. They needed to have called it The Pissed Burger

Yeah, was a bit rough.

I don't eat the stuff much anymore, but the cheeseburger challenge was always good fun at the end of a night out. Always good to wake up and find a few uneaten ones waiting for you in the fridge.
