I do wonder how that works, seeing there would be some form of compensation for a player going from the 2nd leagues to an AFL list.

Do Norwood get that despite Callow never pulling the jumper on in an official match of any kind just because Jackson decided to jump abroad a month ago, or does Callow's junior club receive it?
Very good question.

The noise out of Norwood suggests they get nothing.

He might pretend, but be clear - every single decision he makes and every single comment is coming from a point of trying to bring us down and boost Port up. Anytime he seems to be on your side or even just reporting from a point of common sense are nothing but calculated steps so he can drop the hammer later.

He's a miserable, calculating, nasty little pr!ck.
Absolutely nailed it. Has been this same bitter campaigner forever.

Paul Hunter the latest SANFL player to get a last second AFL call-up. Training with St Kilda now it looks like they'll have an extra spot due to Dylan Roberton retiring.

Kenny struggling to keep his mouth shut in pre-season once again, do you hear actual professional coaches like Hardwick & Ratten coming out in February and saying that the flag is theirs for the taking?

We've seen this magic trick a few times from Kenny now.

Indeed we have, but the softest fixture I've ever seen for the previous year's minor premiers will all but guarantee another top two finish to pave the way for Hinkley's masturbatory projections. It sort of takes away the abracadabra.

I'm a bit "I'll believe it when I see it" with Port this year. It seems like a rather familiar story to 2014-2015. A talented squad, looking on the up, then the undue arrogance kicks in (what is it with SA clubs being arrogant before their dues seeing we did the same shit in 2017-2018), and they just peter out into nothing.

I'll be curious to see if they can keep the momentum up, Hinkley has already squandered one very talented squad.

News reporting that Eddie McGuire has quit as President of Collingwood FC:
https://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/e...d/news-story/0b7f817f1694c95446869c637b99da5c

It's an important first step in fixing the racism problems at the club. There was no way they could have moved forwards until he was gone, given his own history of making racist & inappropriate comments. The fish rots from the head, and the head of that fish was very rotten indeed.

Finally! ....hopefully.

He might have been great at spruiking for the CFC and going in to bat for it at every opportunity, but is there a more bombastic, tone-deaf, ignorant, self-entitled, punchable-faced football identity in Oz?

Nope. Hopefully he and others like him realise their time has passed them by and move on, never to be seen again

I'd say Hutchy is worse. He and his Croc of shit Media empire can go and get stuffed.

I swear that I have been hearing that Port has had the easiest fixture of any team in every preseason for the past five years
I don't like making such conclusions becuase how hard a fixture for a team is determined to be is based on how good/bad teams were in the season prior, teams are gonna shift around which could make the fixture that once looked 'easy' much harder

We know how 2020 ended for Port, maybe Duursma has another special for us Crows fans in 2021.

Wow.

Just, wow!

Why would you even say that publicly.

Reeks of attention seeking, look-at-me type setup.

This sort if statement cam only end one way.

Dixon, Boak, Gray are still their best three players and are an old man's calf injury away from having their season screwed. The cliff could come quickly for these three and would end in tears for the pear.

One can only hope
