Love Catfish but I miss Max. He was a hottie lol tennis is great so far though Novak just broke serve.
It was an awesome ep tonight. Neve threw the idiots phone in the river.

Absolute bastard he was.

$850,000.
So you're saying that instead of going to uni to get a double degree in Psychology & Arts, of which hasn't been used during my working life, I should have been playing tennis and trying to make it to the semi finals of the Aus Open?

Interesting break down of the prize money - those who at least reach the semis this year earn less prize money than they would've in 2020, but those who were bundled out before then actually earned more. If you won last year, you'd have won $4.1 million, with $2.05 million for the runner up, and $920,000 for making the semis. This year, it's $2.75 million, $1.5 million and $850,000 respectively.

However, quarter finalists this year earned $525,000, making the 4th round earned $320,000, 3rd round $215,000, 2nd round $150,000 and being bundled out in the first round would've boosted your bank balance by $100,000. However, in 2020 it was $460,000 for reaching the quarter finals, $260,000 for the 4th round, $155,000 for the 3rd round, $105,000 for the 2nd round, and $75,000 for a 1st round exit.

And my degrees aren't worth the paper they're written on - an Arts degree with a major in film studies hasn't really helped with job hunting at any stage of the past 15 years, 😂

I don't regret going to uni or what I studied as that's what I wanted to do at the time, but upon reflection i wouldn't do it again and not sure I would actually even go to uni

I learnt more about myself in the 8 months I spent traveling around the USA & Canada following my graduation than I had in the 5/6 years leading up to that stage - feel like I would have been better off doing that before doing higher studies if I did any

Maybe I wouldn't have worried and instead just jumped straight into a working life

Shame the travel and tourism industry is so stuffed at the moment, as that travel experience would've been looked at favourably if you were applying to be a travel agent.
