Well when Medicare is destroyed and private health insurance companies come in from America cause we have to pay for the destruction the lockdowns have caused what do you think the cost of life will be then?
Any Covid deaths will be a drop in the ocean compared to that.
But that will only be poor and working class people so its ok.
Just like now, lockdowns are great when you can work from home or can afford it.
But anyway its not for us to worry about its about the people who have to make their way in life over the next 60+ years that have to pay it off.

And that’s a valid argument too. The question is I suppose, if you want to be completely pragmatic, is what number of deaths are you prepared to accept in order to hopefully preserve business? And if Sweden is apparently anything to go by, their economy suffered when taking an different, herd immunity type approach and also experienced significant deaths.

We need the vaccines far less than other countries so do we deserve to jump the queue cause we're first world?

Absolutely. I find it interesting that we aren’t hearing in the media what is happening in Africa. I wonder whether having generally younger populations means they aren’t seeing the death rates that 1st world countries are?

Those are value judgments indicating that you didn't like the comments. It's a harder sell here Das we have had no locally transmitted covit deaths so far this year and only one person in ICU in the country but the government has apparently ****ed it up according to some.I'm over 70 fully vaccinated just had the flu shot but hanging off on the aspro vinegar jab that's not the governments fault that's me being me and my she will be right attitude.
