Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
I dunno. Maybe cos they had planned on him staying and didn't want to mess up those plans.
Maybe he'd made his mind up last year (but decided to see out his contract) and it had nothing to do with the offer but the club wanted to keep him. Which could be why Noble made that comment months ago, they knew he wanted out but didn't want him to leave.
Gee big breaking news from Damo. It's a midfielder's award? Unbelievable.
Nobody is considering the biggest hit we're taking with Tarrant going.
With Robbie, Majak and Higgins all leaving in the last 12 months our 2022 calendar sales could be left in tatters.
You can't expect Jy, LDU and Cunners (hey we need to cater to the rural markets too) to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to striking a pose.
The club needs to ditch the data driven approach to recruiting and start requesting draftees to submit professional portfolios.

PenisNahas was the biggest loss in recent times, he was able to spread across 3 months.
He’s not a key defender he’s essentially Bonar without speedI wouldn’t be surprised if we made one last play for Jake Kelly. He is the right age and would give us more depth down back. He is a proven lock down defender. Surely the Noble factor comes into play.

He was 10th in the comp for total marks and 13th for average marks (Hall was 10th) in his first year playing as a defender. He was also third in the comp for average and total kicks (Hall was 2nd and 5th as well.) Although we had more behinds scored against us than anyone else.Not sh*tting on the captain purely making a point to not read too much into those stats when he is taking majority of the kick ins and also plenty of chips across the defensive 50. He had a good year no doubt about it

It will be interesting to see how Skinner goes in the prelim and the GF, if they get that far. He was a major reason the Panthers won on the weekend and if he repeats that performance on Friday they will probably play finals. If he makes it to the GF and plays another great game then its worth giving him a call for sure.Maybe skinner but not enthused about any of those options
he has some incredible insight doesn't he. Who'd have thought that about the Brownlow?Gee big breaking news from Damo. It's a midfielder's award? Unbelievable.
ok well my interpretation is;
The guy after years of busting a gut is asked to play a different role , Corr and Taz are soon gone so JZ carries the can for the team down back without about 5/6 starters
Universally praised snd you suggest he’s padding his stats using soft touches
It’s rubbish
Theres not a heap out there unfortunately.
Damo is like a jilted lover! He’s salty the club doesn’t “feed” him anymore, unlike previous players and administrators did in the past!Why Damo gets the big $bucks.
Jy had a better year this year and got one vote but got eight last year.
Krueger another to look at?

Except JZ wasn't asked to play a different role - it was the last part of the ground he hadn't played poorly in and we had to find a spot for him as Captain.ok well my interpretation is;

Yes imo also Ford is fighting for a spot on the bench in our best 22 - BUT - he is leading that pack (which includes Curtis and Mahoney) atm because of how good he looked in those last few games.If we dont get many injuries next year our forwards and mids are stacked.
He may not get a game as a forward.
Larkey, CCJ, CZ, Thomas, JHF and JS are all ahead of him IMO.
He is in a group of players fighting it out for a bench spot.
This year we had JZ, Taz, Hall and Walker as veterans in defence.
If I was him id be asking for a go on HBF.

Should we be looking at this bloke https://www.geelongcats.com.au/players/1814/nathan-kreuger
I liked his game when we played him.
Should have seen me before the diet!!That diet is working!
We have an archer coming through the draft this year.I'd be interested to let Zurhaar loose in the backline, so much about that kid reminds me of Archer. And he has been said to get more excited about the big tackles then goals.
