Gee big breaking news from Damo. It's a midfielder's award? Unbelievable.
If we dont get many injuries next year our forwards and mids are stacked.A young kid has shown he can play forward in limited time. Brilliant instincts. Loves the limelight and kicking goals. And we want to throw him back?
Fantastic! We have depth. Players need to perform. If he isn’t playing AFL footy, he can work on his craft in the VFL.If we dont get many injuries next year our forwards and mids are stacked.
He may not get a game as a forward.
Larkey, CCJ, CZ, Thomas, JHF and JS are all ahead of him IMO.
He is in a group of players fighting it out for a bench spot..

It’s why I was critical of the Sleevo acquisition. Great young talented player but a face only a mother could love. A cross against Brady in my book.Nobody is considering the biggest hit we're taking with Tarrant going.
With Robbie, Majak and Higgins all leaving in the last 12 months our 2022 calendar sales could be left in tatters.
You can't expect Jy, LDU and Cunners (hey we need to cater to the rural markets too) to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to striking a pose.
The club needs to ditch the data driven approach to recruiting and start requesting draftees to submit professional portfolios.
Yep, absolutely. Sicily, McGovern, Tarrant, a heap of gun defenders are forwards who go back. I would have waited a year or two more but I'd be happy to have him train with the defensive group this pre-season.A young kid has shown he can play forward in limited time. Brilliant instincts. Loves the limelight and kicking goals. And we want to throw him back?
I wanted us to look at Skinner when he got delisted by Brisbane. I wanted us to give Skinner a contract when he trained with us. I want us to give Skinner another go now.

19:16 – Robbie Tarrant set to join Richmond
Last year Brown was poor, Higgo struggled out of position and this year Taz was okay but not his old self.Well, that’s an interesting perspective. Corr predates Noble but I guess he, Stepho, and CCJ if it comes off are signs of Brady/North being happy to go to the market with generous longer offers for players they target. We’ll see if it bears fruit.
To KC‘s point, the club has also at the same time shown it’s ready to farewell older players rather than negotiate similarly generous packages for them. In that environment it feels like Brown, Higgins and Taz are likely not to be last to be lured elsewhere.

Goldy had a good year as did Jack and Cunners. Same with Hall. I think this has something to do with it.
JHF isn't even a north player yet. Neither is CCJ. I dunno who the **** IMO is either. If we dont get many injuries next year our forwards and mids are stacked.

This year we had JZ, Taz, Hall and Walker as veterans in defence.
If I was him id be asking for a go on HBF.
Not yet he hasn't but he wants some.Fair to say you've got some skin in the game?
Draft strategy to bring in as many hyphenated names as possibleJHF isn't even a north player yet. Neither is CCJ. I dunno who the fu** IMO is either.
decent banter from youDude that isn't very fair to Brady. (even if its kind of true.)To be fair to Brady, he's using himself as a benchmark.
I dunno. Maybe cos they had planned on him staying and didn't want to mess up those plans. That's the thing then ferbs, why up our offer to 2 years then?
We didn’t see the offer (and fair enough). Could have been triggers, could have been a late acceptance that this year wasn’t a fair test and it was reasonable to extend to try to keep his experience around. That's the thing then ferbs, why up our offer to 2 years then?

There was talk of Jy being top 3 if he hadn't broken his leg in his draft year. But obviously the umps checked his draft number and decided not to vote for him.We are about to have 3 top 4 pick midfielders.![]()
